and youre just trying to find excuses for the fact that australia creamed the world xi. despite all that stuff, they are still supposedly the best in the world. issues with language or whatever doesnt mean that they should get snapped by at least 100 runs in every one dayer, not to mention 200 runs in a 6day test. and i accept the ashes, but if we had won again for the 19th year, us aussies wouldnt have made a thread about it. not that i blame you, but still, we musnt forget the past ashes, as much as you guys would like to. oh yeah, most of the world xi team are friends anyway. and i know for a fact that such players as shoab akhtar, murilitheran, dravid etc all speak english, so language isnt a problem.

the england team only play together when theres an international, most of the time they play for county teams. so they dont play together all the time either. basically, you dont have the ashes for 18 years, and suddenly you win so you forget how much australia have dominated.

oi seriously, you poms take too much pride in this win. i mean, we just absolutely killed the World XI in 3 one dayers and a test here (we won the test by 200 runs, in a team that includes golden boy flintoff and peitersen, who still cant catch by the way), and if it wasnt for katich getting out with 2 runs left for victory in the third test it wouldve been 2-2 in the ashes. and man, we held them for 18 years, i think that means we are still better. funny how we forget... so have your one year of holding them, then come down here and we'll take them for 18 more :lol:

bruce is the coolest. and steven seagul is cool too! but bruce. hes a funny man. i saw him on the late show with dave letterman once wearing a bright orange suit, orange shirt, orange socks and tie. it was so funny. plus die hards are my favourite movies. how can one man be so cool? and he was good in hostage too. :D

does anybody else think that talk sounds a bit bare live. like... just the drums in the verse and stuff, and they sound lonely... i dunno, it just sounds weird to me.

hmm nah i get what you mean, but at the same time i guess they wanted to sus out how popular it was. the show was always gonna be a sell out, but how quick is a different story. obviously 8minutes = 2nd show.

they did plan for more shows. the first show sold out in like 8 minutes, so they added a second one about 30 minutes later. now they are adding a third one. so they were prepared to some extent, but i dont think they thought it would be this huge.

its pretty amazing really... from 1 show to 3. it shows how popular they are here.

my dad absolutely hates them. except for GPASUYF, he likes that song. otherwise he thinks chris has a really high and whiny voice, and the high pitched music and his high pitched voice dont go together or some shit. who cares. lol. but dont mind him, hes a tool. :lol:

general admission = standing. so if you get tickets that say GA on them, then dont worry you are standing.
