  1. ooh! and I'd be leery of the chemical straightening! the grass is always greener until you get there :smug: berrywoman: are you glad you did it? (you're emoticons would suggest otherwise ;) )
  2. I've never heard of textureline... But the salon selectives one is pretty good... It's the only one I've found produces the same results through lots of different weather (whereas other ones can go uber frizzy if it's muggy or foggy outside.. this one tends to stay) That being said, it's not mousse or gel.. so it's not uber heavy... it allows your hair to flow in natural directions and keeps frizz to minimal... but may not hold as well as mousse or gel (which I won't use b/c it's too stiff) gah, I can't believe I have so much to say about hair
  3. such a good thread!! heh, at least one with purpose... :P I use products to keep my hair naturally curly/wavy and not let frizz attack it... and yea, I just checked and you're in the same country as me.. so this might not be that hard to find.. it's called Salon Selectives "loosly defined" styling creme... or another that I use regularly is John Frieda's Frizz Ease Wind Down relaxing creme... both are really good... or, another good way is use a fantastic conditioner in the shower and even that might do it if it has enough moisture in it... like, there's this one called Beach Blonde Kelp Help.. it's like a masque for hair.. super good (but a little pricey).. anyways, I hope these help...
  4. Do bands usually do two tours for the same album?
  5. That's fantastic! Oy, I'd die if i got a text from Bono (especially since I don't own a cell phone  )... Yea, I guess I mean... throwing something like... well, we all know how much Chris loves the chocolates, but, if I was a celeb and a fan threw food at me, I'd be a bit leery of it... One of my friends suggested just a nice letter or something saying how great I think they are... but, I don't want to do the mushy, "could be a stalker" type thing either... And, I'm definitly not thinking that Coldplay is an underwear kind of band... So yea, I'm out of ideas.. although, a phone number is a great idea!! Anyone else?
  6. Have you read 'Frenchman's Creek' yet? I really enjoyed that, although I'm cross she went for the realistic ending rather than the ending I would hvae liked. Yea, I saw the movie... and I can't remember how it ended  But, I own the book... so I might take that up next :)
  7. yea, a really boring episode (as compared to the "everyone behave or big brother will turn this house around" episode on tuesday :D )... But yay for Kaysar!
  8. any links to the sounds of this.. uh.. er... band?
  9. Has anyone ever gone to a coldplay concert and thrown anything up on stage? I have orchestra pit tickets for the end of september... and was curious what the general thought on this was...
  10. anything by Daphine DuMaurier... She wrote the books that brought about fantastic movies from Hitchcock like The Birds and Rebecca... That's what got me on her books.. and she's a fantastic writer!
  11. yea, I was freaking out about it last night (well, not really.. but you get my point)... about how they've never actually shown him speaking... and my sister reminded me about the time someone was sending message airplanes over the house and big brother sent them inside... that was hillarious...
  12. BUMP this, *Justine*... ;) I finally got it... wahoo :idea2:
  13. I can... holy munkee.. she said Kayser was against women (or something like that... insensitive or likes to keep 'em down or something)... and he got mad. Yea, well, consider where he's from... he probably hates all the bad stuff the middle east (where he's from) is known for... including keeping women down... She was completely trying to get him angry so the house would see him upset. And Eric was doing the same thing with Michael. I don't like Michael... but Eric isn't much better... The episode last night was great.. I've never actually seen big brother yell at people to go to their seperate corners :D
  14. wow.. okie doke... I thought it was an hour from the last post that had "bump" in it... but after skimming through.. I guess it's from the last post period (which doesn't make a whole lot of sense... but whatever, not my game) Anyways, sorry to piss you off justine... :(
  15. bump? (c'mon.. i have to have at least one point by now... )

Ok, there may already be a thread about this, but I searched and couldn't find one... How reliable is ebay for buying Coldplay tickets? I'm about to bid on tickets for Hartford and it seems too good to be true... (although, this guy has over a thousand comments and 99.9% are positive)... Also, how does emailing me tickets work? Any help is sooo appreciated!! :D thx
  18. hey berrywoman... do I have one? a few pages back? (just seeing if I am playing right  )
  19. "see me crumble and fall on my face and I know the mistakes that I made See it all disappear without a trace..." robtth
  20. ok, this isn't a top list or anything... but this is definitly one of my top five movies.. It's called "Kings Row" - a 1940s-ish movie with Ronald Regan (yes, the president... he could act his ass off)... about a guy who grows up in a small town and ends up becoming one of the first american psychiatrists... A dark movie, but great drama and heart...
