I've seen two coldplay concerts this summer... both times from the pit and i know a couple of things: #1 - I could never watch them from seats.. it'd be too far from the boys.. I loved being only five feet from Chris many many times. #2 - The first time I was in the pit, we were one row back... my feet hurt soo much the whole time and I had a bag with me I was really aware of and concerned about someone trying to get into. So the second time, I made sure I was at the very front up against the barrier. This was good for so many reasons. I made friends with the security guard (which could have serious benefits), had a place to put my bag in front of me where no one could get at it, had something to lean on, and was close enough that Chris looked me right in the eye before he tossed me a camera... So yea, get there super early, boot it to the front of the pit, and have a helluva good time ;)

I loooove this show! I have the first three seasons on DVD.. soon to be buying the fourth... but yea.. I'm not too crazy about the rift thing... even if they would run into each other and fight .. but not having any interaction sucks..

gah.. those are a lot of songs.. i guess i should get an ipod or something.. i have about 14 cds from coldplay... multiple singles with different or extra b-sides and four main ones (brothers and sisters, parachutes, AROBTTH, X&Y)... probably doesn't sound like a lot.. but for someone who lives on a continent where singles are as hard to find as.. um.. <place funny comparison here>.. :rolleyes: :D

man... this show is my guilty secret... i can't help it... at first i was repulsed... but... I can't stop watching it! especially when there's a hasbeen on it that I used to watch on tv or listen to or whatever...

that's it? but... that's really odd... I thought there was more to it than that... I think there's more to it than that... and that's why most people don't get it.. cause we're trying to figure out more than just the shallow interpretation of what it could mean...

chris in anything (or in nothing) is hot... in my humble opinion :wink3:

the pics from our camera turned out ok.. only three from backstage of guy holding other disposable cameras and will lying on the couch... but i was more thrilled at the fact that chris looked me in the eyes, raised his eyebrows as if to ask "you want it?" and then threw it right to me... i don't think i've ever come closer to fainting

Coldplayintherain - you must must must do the pit.. I've seen two shows.. both from the pit.. I don't think I could do it any other way anymore

what an amazing concert... Chris threw me his camera :) ... he only took three pics backstage (two of Guy holding other disposable cameras and one of Will lying on the couch reading a mag)... so not the best pics... But I'm not complaining!! :D :D

I was there... front and just off to the right (I even caught a camera Chris tossed right to me :))... Anyone have a definite setlist? I didn't bother to memorize or write it down...

I'm sooo addicted to this show... although, I can't really pinpoint the reason why. I mean, the tattoos are amazingly pretty... and the customers are interesting... and the guys are cool.. but, yeesh.. I wish I could figure out one solid reason I like this show so much.. although, it did inspire me to get a tattoo... quite possibly with coldplay in it ;)

can you take video cameras into these concerts?

when I saw them in the pit at Hartford... I arrived as the gates open, and I was one person back and about two/three people to the left of dead centre stage.. but, I've never been to the verizon ampatheatre... so, I'm just gonna be there hellsa early (hours)

that's insane... what's wrong with the NY Times? They seem to have a vendetta out against our boys (especially Chris)...
