Random Coldplay thoughts...
ok.. here's a random thought... or, er observation? (mostly I couldn't find the thread I wanted, so I'm posting in this one.) I was watching Extras, and noticed that "Greatest Hits" was supposed to be released on the "17th of this month".. which is when VLV will be released in my neck of the woods.. anyways, something small, but thought it was an interesting coincidence...

In honor of seeing CP live...

Toronto gig on MuchMusic
Man, I'd forgotten how amazing they are live. I'd take a live album over a produced one anytime. aawww... when they started singing Fix You at the concerts I always got sad cause I knew it was over... and now the same thing is happening on the tele! I'm so sappy over my boys :)

Toronto gig on MuchMusic
ya man.... they all signed the back of my parachutes vinyl... with a message from chris (hehe, no pun intended) so the special is pretty good... it's good to see the concert from different viewpoints (as the two times I saw it, it was from right in front of the stage)... i hope they still use the footage from other shows... they did a lot of taping!! it'd be such a waste to not use it...

Toronto gig on MuchMusic
D'oh! I'm still pissed they aren't releasing the DVD... I was looking forward to seeing myself talking to Chris and Guy outside of the Juno awards (some chick taped it and then asked if it was ok to put on the DVD) Oh well, a tv special is better than no coldplay at all, am I right?

Chris Martin At Record Of The Day Awards

The Funniest things your parents/family ever did/say about Coldplay
Hmmm... when the boys were comming out of the arena in my town, my mom and sister and I were waiting for them (with about three other people). I saw the band go into the arena for soundcheck and realized while waiting for them to come back out that Chris had cut his hair. I mumbled something about this out loud... little did I know that when they came out later, my mom would yell "Chris, take off your hoodie so we can see your haircut". He just smiled and mumbled something about it being too messy or something... Ya, that was a bit embarassing...

George Orwell - 1984
I started reading Orwell due to a British Lit class I was in. It was a more obscure Orwell than 1984 or Animal Farm (called "Comming up for Air")... but it was a really great read! Then I got into more of his stuff. He is a phenominal writer... I reccommend all of his stuff. And I was reluctant to read 1984 because of it's popularity... but it's definitly one of my top five books. Read Orwell! Any Orwell! :)

Rate the latest movie you've seen

Most underrated films of all time
I absolutly love Lost in Translation. It's an amazing film - so beautiful to watch the scenery and how these people are interracting with each other and at the same time this foreign city they're in. Amilie - I still know *a lot* of people who've never heard of it or won't watch it because of subtitles. If I had a "movies you must watch while being alive" list, this would be in the top five. and this one is a lot lesser known.. it's from 1942 and has Ronald Regan in it.. but it's quite possibly my favorite film. About a small town boy who becomes one of the first psychologists in America and the dark secrets people in the town have... really great movie.

~Lost~Season 2 & 3 ~SPOILERS INSIDE!~
:O damnit!!! Desmond is on the boat.. i skipped through a forum a while back and someone was giving a rundown of what the last three shows were going to be.. and the last one was a desmond one... yeesh... so much for a red herring... although, it'll still be impressive to see what happens... and yea, i noticed the "paid for by Jeep" thing and, i found some wicked wierd stuff last night... if you go to http://www.letyourcompassguideyou.com/usr there are all kinds of files you can poke through.. but the most interesting ones come from peter thompson's file (which is also interesting, because if you look up the book "The Bad Twin" on amazon.com, Peter Thompson left a reader's review on amazon...) This game is nuts!!! So much reality + so much fiction.. it's soooo blurry!!! Sorry, anyways, in the peter thompson part, in the inbox or email section.. there's a bunch of emails from Chrysler talking about a deal with cars n'stuff... Oy.. you just have to poke around yourself.. it's too confusing... Erin - Lucy bought "The Bad Twin" at the bookstore the other day.... apparently, it's ****full**** of underlying clues, etc...

~Lost~Season 2 & 3 ~SPOILERS INSIDE!~
the "HEIR APPAERENT" clue: after you recieve the code, there's a link to the hanso site underneath the screen with the code on it. if you click on the link.. it takes you back to the alvar hanso bio.. if you go to another of the executive's bios... threre's a place where you can put in the "HEIR APPARENT" code and it says something about that exec not actually have gone to a university or something... ANyways, it'd cool... the boat's empty... probably just a red herring or something... however, i think the innoculations that charlie found are going to be really important... also important: that locke just walked off of the beach while they were having a funeral... where did he go? it always seems to be the small things that the writers end up playing on ... such a great show.. I can't wait for a two hour finale next week :):):)
