There was a time when I didn't understand why Pablo Neruda was so famous, and how he was awarded with the Nobel.... now I don't understand how I couldn't love his work; I don't read a lot of poetry or know much about it, but I know that he's one of the bests poets. It's different though, when you read them in spanish........ in spanish they are much more ambigualent andthey just have a different meaning; must be because it is my 1st language :lol: Yeah the book says that this poem has been translated. I've had loads of bust-ups with good friends in the past, but time almost always helps things. It seems that you need to have a long chat with this friend, you might find out that they are feeling the same way. Maybe they are waiting for you to make the first move. If you really value their friendship so much, don't give up! Explain how you feel uncomfortable....... you never know until you try! I live in the most peaceful and beautiful place in the world :nice: ^this is a picture of a Duke+Duchess' castle - they live about 500m from me :smug: :cool: I live about 3 miles out of a leeetttllllee village. < main st. on a flat out busy day :lol: My nearest big town is Omagh, which is always remembered for all the wrong reasons :/ because of the bomb in 1998. But it is a lovely town and I miss going to school there :rolleyes: :D
