New Travis Album? Does anyone know if Travis is working on a new album or not? I'm in the U.S. so they don't get much coverage over here. I hope that if they are it will be better than 12 Memories. Thanks.

For Parachutes I put Help is 'Round the Corner, Careful Where You Stand, and For You at the end. For X&Y, I put the old version of Talk between Fix You and the reg. Talk, and added How You See The World and Things I Don't Understand to the end of the cd. I'm going to do the same for the new Oasis album once more b-sides come out.

X&Y, because it's the only song that sounds like it came to them naturally, and it is the most dynamic and beautiful song on the album.

I made a AROBTTH with its b-sides at the end. The tracklisting went: Regular Album 1-11 12. I Bloom Blaum 13. I Ran Away 14. Murder 15. Animals 16. One I Love 17. 1.36 I would have included Crests of Waves but I ran out of room (damn 80 minute cds) and I like all the above b-sides better. It's a kick ass cd. I did the same thing with Parachutes and X&Y. Have y'all done anything like this, and if so do tell.

I read that Chris is moving the family to L.A. from London after the 7/7 attacks and a break in. L.A. is nice I suppose, but it isn't exactly a low-profile target either. Not to mention having to deal with earthquakes. I think I would move to the English countryside (at least during the warm months) and build a huge mansion that one could secure. Those rolling hills have to be the most beautiful place on Earth.

i heard from someone that gwyneth paltrow likes coldplay. i think she met chris one time at one of their concerts. they opened up for her and huey lewis.

People have NO CLUE what they are talking about. NO ONE can ever say that the Beatles are overrated. They invented and introduced countless innovations to music. Their incredibly innovative style allowed all barriers on rock to be broken by those who came after them. Each member of the Beatles was a musical genius. Lennon, McCartney, and Harrison all were some of the greatest songwriters in history. Take a look at their solo careers if you need proof of that. I just thought about this recently. The Beatles released Rubber Soul in Dec 1965, and Revolver only 9 months later. Sgt. Pepper's came out 10 months later and Magical Mystery Tour only 5 months later, and so on until Abbey Road. That's 7 albums in 6 years, each one inarguably a masterpiece. Only a few bands have even one masterpiece album, let alone 7 in 5 years. And if one band happens to have more than one, they don't come out year after year after year. Just another statistic about the Beatles that blows your mind. Not really sure what this has to do with Coldplay, but I'm just giving props to the boys from Liverpool.

I know a lot of people who have decided not to buy X&Y because they heard it was a departure from their past work. If I had to do it over again, I'd still buy it, but with hesitancy.
