Favourite All time Coldplay Song?
Warning Sign, followed by In My Place and Trouble

Low could have been harder
I think the beginning of Low is one of best moments on the album, but if they had just cranked up the ferocity of the guitars there and for the rest of the song, it would have been so much better. To me the riffs just seem a bit impotent. Regardless, one of the better efforts on X&Y.

Guess the song!
In My Place At full tilt, and in full flight...

MOSES
is anyone hardcore enough to shell out 30 bucks for a song that might be studio?

Why do Coldplay front-load their albums?
i'm not talking about personal taste. i'm noting that the vast majority of singles chosen from the albums come from the first-half of the tracklistings.

Why do Coldplay front-load their albums?
Have y'all noticed that many of Coldplay's most popular songs all appear on the first half of their album's tracklisting? The following songs all appear on the first half of their albums: Don't Panic, Shiver, Sparks, Yellow, Politik, In My Place, GPASUYF, The Scientist, Clocks, Square One, White Shadows, Fix You, Talk, X&Y. Out of the 10 singles from albums Colplay have released thus far, 8 have come from the first half of their album's tracklisting. What are y'alls thoughts on this?

College Football
Georgia all the way this year. Best running attack in the SEC and the dynamic SHOCKER at QB, with the best O-line in the country. Go Dawgs!

What do y'all think of this X&Y review ?
the review is correct in that simplicity is what makes Coldplay's music work. nothing on X&Y sounds easy. if Coldplay follows on their current path, their music may continue to "evolve", but fans and critics alike will point to their first two albums as their finest and most earnest work.

Is Don't Believe The Truth better than X&Y?
the band is none other than Oasis my friend
-
Politik: Live or Album version?
i'm partial to the album version - but the live versions I have heard are incredible no doubt - the 2nd half of the song is incredibly stirring to the soul

Is there a 3rd version of Talk?
I read on a multimedia post that someone had requested "the 3rd version of Talk" - i have the pre-release and the album version, but i did not know there was a third? does it exist, and if so, what is it like and does anyone have it?

Almost everyone has a favourite on X&Y.

Things on X&Y that remind you of other songs/albums
Chris said this in an interview, but the end of What If was taken from the end of the Beatles' A Day In the Life. Also, the opening lyrics of Swallowed in the Sea remind me of a mother goose rhyme.

Poll: Which member would you get along well with the most?
buckland - he seems really low-key and i think he'd be easy to hang with and have a guinness with - that would be so badass
-
Twisted Logic
terrible song to close out the album - i think what if would have been a better choice
-
ballad of the soldier´s wife
Under the Tracks is a song by Creeper Lagoon - i have no clue who they are but the song is actually pretty good.
