Atonement was very good, and works fantastically well on the big screen. you wouldn't get the same atmosphere on dvd. the whole cinema was siletn, and all you could hear was the tiking of a clock as briony crept along the hall. the tense feeling through the cinema just kept building. keira knightley seems to be improving with age too. she usully annoys me at some point in a film, but didn't at all this time

Atonement 9.5/10 Was a little apprehensive as i didn't enjoy all the book. the film is absolutely fantastic. its extremely well filmed, and remains really faithful to the novel (from what i remember). Some of the scenes were filmed so well, and i'd love to see some of the out-takes from the library scene which must have taken a hell of a lot of filming to get that angle sorted!!

The star of "Meet the Parents," "The Wedding Crashers and "The Royal Tenenbaums" was taken to a hospital Sunday afternoon after Santa Monica emergency personnel responded to a medical aid call at the actor's home. The Santa Monica Police Department released the following statement to TMZ.com: "On Sunday, Aug. 26, 2007, at 12:10 p.m., officers from the Santa Monica Police Department responded to a medical assistance call from the Santa Monica Fire Department at the 900 block of 23rd Street. The person was transported to a local hospital where they are being treated." People.com reported that the home is Owen Wilson's residence. Wilson's brother Luke was seen visiting Beverly Hills' Cedars Sinai hospital Sunday night in a videotape on Entertainment Tonight's Web site. Sightings of other Wilson family members have been reported by various media outlets. Several sites have claimed that Owen Wilson attempted suicide, but those reports have yet to be substantiated. Owen, 38, is the middle child of the Wilson brothers, all of whom act, frequently with each other.
