No editing. And whatever the guy was trying to say at the end there, he was trying to be funny but only succeeded in making no sense.

The 'ALL NEW' Coldplay Piccie Caption Thread...
I loff that picture and that caption is great. xD It could also be: Jonny is concerned for the band's drummer, Will Champion's life, worrying that he may very well sustain a knee to the face.

Almost everyone has a favourite on X&Y.
Right now it's "Square One". But if you go to another thread like this I think I said "Talk". And yet another thread I said "White Shadows". So uh... Yeah, can't quite make up my mind.

Coldplay doesn't have the thematic range...
And you got issues. Go do something else, you are not able to stay in a forum! You are really starting to annoy. What kind of person ask for "thoughts about this" as you wrote in your first post, and then insult someone when you get it? You cand find the answer looking @ your silly replies I don't get it. But that's because I'm silly. :P Thanks for the defense victaniac. ;) ETA: And Swollowedinamessage of course.

Coldplay doesn't have the thematic range...
U2 have been around for 20+ years. Coldplay: little under 5. And, they aren't U2. U2 is U2. Coldplay is Coldplay. Andwouldpeoplepleasestopcomparingthem. >.<

CHANGE OF CONTENTS FOR THE NEXT ALBUM
And is that a problem? He's Chris Martin. He writes what he is, not what isn't. If you want "Streets of Philadelphia", listen to it. The end.

They could give something more to their fans.....
I like it. They aren't trying to milk the fans. I suppose they think that a special interview here and there (like the one before X&Y came out--which was free) that shows alittle bit of the studio and such and a live DVD every tour with a little documentary is all we need, and really, it is. I wouldn't want them to release all these special edition things and such... Like Bright Eyes. It's overwhelming how many albums and bit and bobs they have avalible. Three albums, a live DVD/CD and some EPs and they're good. It's more about the music with them I suppose. And another thing, you never see a Coldply shirt just out on the stores like alot of bands. I suppose they think they're in everyone's face enough as it is. (Like this morning, I heard them mentioned on some VH1 special on Aqualung, Speed of Sound used on an ad for N and their nomination for five VMAs all within about 5 minutes, no joke. Not that I mind :D ) Besides man, they only have three albums out! Give 'em atleast 4 or 5, eh? I think they stil feel like they aren't established enough to release anything like that. (Even though, God knows they are :P ) [/ramble] I don't think I made much sense, but that's my two cents!

A - A Whisper, A Meassage, A Warning Sign, Amsterdam :D

Your least favourite Coldplay song
A Whisper I suppose, even though I don't HATE it. But I never make a concious effort to listen to it.

Your Favorite song and why? On X&Y.....
Right now I guess you could say it's Speed of Sound, but my opinion is still changing from day to day. It switches between all but three tracks, which are Swallowedin the Sea, The Hardest Part and Kingdom Come. I like all three, but not as much as the rest of the songs on the album. ;D

Guess the song!
We Never Change "There could be computers, lookin' for life on earth..."

CHANGE OF CONTENTS FOR THE NEXT ALBUM
What are you talking about when you say "other things"?? Politik - Human equality A Rush of Blood To The Head - Committing an act of violence to protect someone you love Speed of Sound - Miracles Square One - Inertia Twisted Logic - The future of humankind Fix You - loss Spies - insecurties and past demons Just to name a few. And no, I've never heard those Springsteen songs you speak of, but I do respect him, and enjoy alot of his music. However, they aren't Bruce springsteen. So you can't really use him as an example, or anyone else for that matter. They're Coldplay, and they write a few love songs here and there, but they're stuff is realatable and that's what makes them great. They talk about stuff people can really understand. "Deep" stuff is great, but Coldplay is Coldplay. If Chris tries to write "deeper" lyrics then it'll seem forced and contrived. The songs he writes just come out, and it's something you can really tell in thier music. Just my two cents.

CHANGE OF CONTENTS FOR THE NEXT ALBUM
...I wasn't aware that Coldplay songs or their albums weren't deep. Chris has said himself many times, however, that his lyrics aren't very scintific and that people probably won't be analysing them 10 years to come. But, really, if you think about it, they really don't have many love songs. In fact, their love songs aren't really... well... love songs. A Message and perhaps Swallowed in the Sea are the only two I can think of. Perhaps Kingdom Come. But Yellow is the only "love song" from Parachutes. "The Scientist" and perhaps "Amsterdam" the only ones from AROBTTH. Besides, either way, who says Coldplay need to be quote, unquote "deep". Maybe they're so popular because they cut off all the metaphor and such and get strait to the point, making they're songs very direct, in turn, making their stuff unobtuse and more emotive. In my opinion. And not everyone can pull that off.

Have you ever thought of....
Haha, maybe if you're going to one of their gigs or something, but that'd be rather strange to do it all the time. ;)
