  1. That's the Ice Dragon at the Dueling Dragons ride in Universal Studios Orlando! I friggen LOVED that ride. And The Ice Dragon was the best. That's so damn cool I don't know what to do with myself. ...Wait. No it's not. *Is crushed*
  2. Congrats Guy! She's georgeous. ;)
  3. I really didn't know a THING about the actual members except for their names, what they looked like and what they played until a few months ago. Now I know alot about the history of the BAND, but not much about the members themselves... their birth places and dates is about as much as I know. And when it comes to their personal lives... I know what they all are married except for Johnny who has a live-in girlfriend, Will's wife is Marianne (like the song), Chris' is Gwyn ('Cause she's Gywn) and Guy has a dog named Sid. Oh and Chris has a baby named Apple and a couple of younger siblings... right? Well, siblings at any rate. So... it's not like I really go seraching around for the stuff I just stumble across it really. I try to stay clear of "celebrity" news or what not.
  4. Yes indeed. And it seemes like all the pictures from those cameras that have been scanned are Will's. Weird.
  5. It's a track by Brian Eno. I think it's from some soundtrack... I can't really recall, but I know it's Brian Eno. Hope that helps. Oh and WHERE did you get your icon from??
  6. That picture of Chris and the girl is at the 99X studios after this radio takeover. I recognize the shirt and the scruff from other pictures I've seen from that event. (Which I'm now kicking myself for missing  )
  7. Coldplay know wher ethey started. They know and they respect it, of course. But you have to accept the fact that bands change. You have to accept A Rush of Blood and X&Y for what they are, not for what they are next to Parachutes. Parachutes was their debute, and it was a wonderful album, but they moved forward. If they made three Parachutes instead of three, seperate, entirely unique albums, they would stagnate, people would grow bored and no good would come of it. You can have too much of a good thing. And yes, I love the acoustic versions of all their songs. They're a great acoustic band. But can you imagine Square One with out the synths? Speed of Sound with out the keyboards? Hell, even Amserdam without the distorted guitar? Or even Spies without the copper slide on the frets? Trust me, I have acoutic versions of Speed of Sound, Amsterdam and Spies they just aren't the same. Just be glad they aren't like many bands who stick with the same thing and it leads to creative stagnation. Old Coldplay = Awesome New Coldplay = Awesome Neither is better than the other. They're both great in their own ways. Ya dig?
  8. ^ Posted on the Funny Coldplay Pix thread. Will cracks me up. ;D Oh and here's som Will!icons I made. :) Feel free to use if you want! Yay!
  9. Wait wait... You guys don't actually think he's serious... right? I mean... for Christ's sake he mentioned doing a Dijeridoo album! And plus, this was originally posted in The Sun. The Sun = the British version of the The Weekly World News. I think that's enough said.
  10. I say... Right on damnit. This makes me so excited.
  11. Hey, we can take those bulbous, snobbish critics anyday. And we'd do it for Coldplay. :) We love you guys. ~panda
  12. We should make a thread about it. I think we really need to do something. Maybe we could atleast do an electronic thing. Like some kind of E-mail and send it to Debs. And not just to Chris, but all the guys. They're probably all feeling the heat. Anyone want me to make a thread? So we can plan something? :) EDIT: Oh and those scans are amazing! That one pciture of Chris is really cool.
  13. I'm really very worried for him... for all of them really. They really have hit a snag here. And I'm going to continue to worry until the band's back in the studio. ...This time next year? Damn. I hope he gets to feeling better. I feel like we should all do something. This article seriously made me quite sad. Maybe his few months off with the family in Atlanta will help him out a bit. :) I freaking hope so. And yes Steph! Go ahead and post!

puritanformage, I am now insanely jealous of your room. I hate mine with a burning passion. Congrats. Not everyone is as lucky as you. :P
  15. Mr. Wood took a big dump on the "X&Y" album though. *Growl*
  16. 10! Make trade fair! (...46319010135!)

10 just because Apple's so darn cute.
  18. ^ Avatar was taken from the MTVEurope gig in the summer. (That was the coolest stage ever)
  19. The piano version of Yellow. *dies*
  20. Aww! What a great picture! ;D And I'm so INSANELY jealous because I live in Atlanta but I was in SCHOOL instead of standing outside of the studio. I heard there really weren't that many people there and he spent lots of time with everyone. Garrr. Education sucks. But I DID go to the show that previous night though so I can't complain... at all really. Fucking brilliant. Oh, and I love Sigur Ros. Their new album is awesome. Went to their show last month. Amazing.
  21. Oh, and here are some pictures from the Atlanta concert. (These aren't mine by the way)
  22. Here's some more Guy!pics from the Atlanta show for you! ^I think Guy was heartened by the compliments and actually MOVED. *gasp* (Cause Clocks was the very next song they played XD )
  23. Here's pictures from the Atlanta show. That poster was in the audience and Chris asked for it to be passed on the stage and he then proceeded to "honor" Guy by s telling everyone that he was "the handsomest, coolest bass player ever" and a "sex god" and on and on. Guy was flattered/dumbfounded that he forgot how to start Don't Panic! He had to stand there and strum for atleast a minuet. It was so adorable as well as funny. But anywho... here are the pictures! (These aren't mine by the way)
  24. I can really relate to Will alot. And I know if I was in a band, I'd probably be the "No" person.
