Well lets see. First time was in Houston on the Rush of Blood tour. They hadn't been out on tour for very long when they came to Houston. I went early to the venue. When I was leaving the parking garage, I passed by their buses which were parked on the street. Will, Jonny and Guy where out just walking around! They were signing autographs, talking to people and stuff. I was so stunned they were just out and about. No one really cared about them :confused: all the people hanging around their buses were hoping to meet Chris. Chris and Gwyneth had just started dating heavily and she was with him all the time, so he wasn't hanging out with fans. lol I didn't take any pics or even have any paper with me to get signed, :( but I did say Hi. Later that same tour I flew to Cleveland to see them with Mary. I had met Mary on the Coldplay message board and we decided to see a show together. Actually a whole bunch of us met up there and went to see them. Again we went early to the venue. Mary, insane woman that she is, had made everyone a t-shirt with Will's pic on it. We were waiting when their tour bus arrived and I guess the rest of the band made Will come over and talk to his "fan club" :lol: He was so embarrassed. He let us take pics and talked with us. That's where that above pic is from. I took Mary's pic with him. After the show, we went around to where the buses where parked and after the show, Chris and Jonny came out first. I was surprised that Chris came out ( because Gwyn was there). They signed autographs and took pics with us. They were very nice. Especially Jonny. :heart: Then Will came out. We waited for Guy, but he came out and got on their bus without coming over. :angry: Now days they don't tour by bus, so it's hard to meet them. Most big venues that they play have enclosed entrances so not much luck even seeing them arrive or leave. Things like radio show interviews where you know they will be coming and going at a set time would be your best shot. I met Will 11/20 on the train to the footie match. I also support Saints and was in the UK to see them play. I said hi and he shook my hand. We talked a bit and walked part way to the stadium together. This meeting was just pure luck. :smug: Mary is till kicking herself for not being there. :sneaky: that's such a great read. Thanks Texasluvsjonny! Man, if I see Guy and he doesn't come over to say hi, I swear I will make bare NOISE! He'd feel so ashamed he'd have to come over... :lol:

I really hate it when tall people are in front of me. I think it's really selfish, especially is you're 'height challenged'. I was at a Bloc Party gig the other day and this these 2 dudes were right up the front and centre and one had this big afro. I was directly behind them. After a while, I got tired of trying to see through the 'fro and I got my 'make poverty history' wristband and I tied the dudes hair into a ponytail... :lol: He didn't mind...

I'm not the sort of person to premeditate what I'm going to say. I'm pretty spontaneous, so I'll think of something if/when the moment happens... :lol: My aim would be to make them laugh... :wink3:
