Hey Christa, I'm still thinking about it....i've been really lucky this year to see the guys in such small venues, so i won't feel horrible if i don't see them at izod. i'm slowly paying off my cc debt....

there were only a few fans waiting outside?? So much for the question during Q&A session when someone asked when the band realized they were famous. although it's NY....no one really gets excited when they see a celebrity....i've seen celebrities on the streets or events and i've never cared to say hi.

Silly me....i didn't notice Jay-Z or Beyonce.....my eyes were fixated on Guy!

Noelia....i dont' need to fill in the gaps...you told everything! Awesome night....Noelia was so nervous, but I knew we would get in. If you believe, it will happen.

Sorry i'm on so late...at work, shouldn't be online. Big thanks to Noelia (Cooky)! If she wasn't on line, i would have been the 250th person on line. We were about 10 ft away from the guys...you could see the sweat, chest hairs, everything! Some highlights: Chris said in the beginning, "it looks like there's quite a lot of seats back in the balcony...more ppl could have come but Joe the Plumber is having his own concert a few doors down...they got a lot of laughs...chris said we were playing in ohio a few days ago and no one laughed or applauded us....i guess joe the plumber in ohio is like the eliot spitze of NY. chris tripped on one of the wires by Guy....both had a good laugh about that! Towards the end, chris asked jonny, 'what time is it?' Jonny mouthed 'don't know'....then chris asks, 'duffy is playing in ny tonight as well, right...what venue is she at? Again, Jonny replies 'don't know' ....chris laughs and says, 'jonny..you don't know anything, do you?' More to come....

Ok, I'm really confused b/c on the website...it says stand-by tickets are distributed on the thursday of that week. I thought taping was on Saturday night, hence the name of the show. The taping couldn't possibly be Thursday because that's just the 1/2 hr weekend update taping only. can anyone clarify when to pick up tix but when the actual taping is? I feel stupid =(

Am i missing something? Is anyone going to try and get stand-by tickets? I know it's very possible for leno or conan but how are the chances for snl? If anyone knows, please tell me! thanks. :D

Or what would be even more fair is to distribute these exclusive tickets to coldplaying members!

^i think it's worth it only if you know what Coldplay's crew members looked like...maybe can even put a name to a face. One of them just randomly goes up to a particular nosebleed section and ask people if they will like better seats. I think they are doing this for all dates...i know for U.S, it's definite. When i was at the forum in L.A. there were a bunch of girls shrieking with excitement because they were escorted to actual front row seats and i thought, 'what's wrong with these girls? didn't they already know that they were sitting front row? i thought they were really pathetic and should maybe go out more, if this excites them that much...haha. but since reading that blog entry, it all makes sense.

I remember Chris saying this in an interview and that 'Green Eyes' is also about Jonny.

^awww..Christa, you went to Springsteen's concert? I hear he's still awesome live and have the energy of a 20 year old. I've always wanted to go, but the dates never quite work out.

in one of the blog entries on coldplay.com, they mention how the first five rows are not up for sale. the band keeps them and on the night of the show, distribute them in the nosebleed sections. So, yeah i think your instinct is right-the seller wasn't legitimate.

Definitely get the program. there are some really beautiful photos of the guys. The lyrics are also on the program. it is worth $20.

i have the canon powershot SD1100 IS. I do have the manual mode, but haven't used it. I'm going to play around with it...hopefully, better results will come. Thanks!

Your photos look so professional! I have a canon too...i think it's a newer version, but the photos i've taken at the concerts come out dark and blurry. :( Damn...proves that sometimes buying what's newest is not always the best.

^I third this. I still remember when they played Politik with a full orchestra. That was one of the best performances i have seen on the grammys. Is it just me or the performances lately on the grammys are subpar? I don't know if it's the performers or if the sound tech is awful.

It's Will's birthday this Thursday. Tell people around you to shout out Happy Birthday when they come out for the encore (ok...this is asking for too much). Maybe if there's someone here who has seats close to the stage, make a sign for Will.

Yikes! the traffic i endured was a cakewalk compared to this.
