I didn't know there was a curfew at MSG...well, that explains everything. The guys are not being jerks by playing a short set; they are just respecting rules.

this looks like where i was standing...I stopped asking whether people were from coldplaying after the 6th person because they looked me kind of, "what the hell is that?"

Haha...that's hilarious! Someone next to me said, "Next time I'm going to come with a broken leg!" The show was absolutely amazing...they were pitch perfect. Even when Chris messed up, it sounded good. I can't thank you enough, Ian and Jen! You guys are marvelous! I'm glad that I've met some of the other coldplayers, but there were more people in the VIP than i expected so i didn't meet all. To others who said the crowd seemed lame....i guess when they air the show, they sort of mute out the noise from the crowd. Believe me, I would say about 90% of the people were real coldplay fans. they knew the lyrics to Lost! and 42, when each of the guys came out, people shouted their names (I'm not too positive about Guy, though). About 10% of the people were family members and friends of NBC employees. I will upload photos and videos as soon as I learn how to. I am a newbie at this...please be patient, guys!

it says 7am on coldplay.com and i believe on the today show's website. why have us check in no later than 6:30am if they aren't playing until 8:30am?

when do they actually play? 7am? I have to go straight to work afterwards, so i won't be wearing a coldplay shirt. I'm going to stick out like a sore thumb.

On the Today show site, there's a quiz testing your Coldplay knowledge. I've got 100% correctly...no suprise there. I'm the biggest geek.

Two teenage girls uploaded a video on Youtube about how they love the Jonas Brothers. It caught the attention of Oprah staffers and they suprised the girls at one of the concerts by bringing them onstage. Then they invited the girls to the Oprah show when the Jonas Brothers were guests. I didn't think something like this can actually happen. Could it work with Coldplay? Hmmm...i can only hope.

Congrats! Were you able to get standby tickets? The show tapes at 2:30pm in the afternoon? Sorry I'm asking all these questions...it's just i couldn't find any of this info on the daily show's website.

Have you've been to a concert at Rockefellar center before? If sadly i don't win VIP Passes, I'm trying to figure out realistically how early I need to arrive for a fairly decent viewing. Even 4am seems too late. Please, Ian...pick me! I'm so desperate!
