Well, I'm only applying to two schools right now. Eugene Lang (which is part of the New School for the Liberal Arts right in New York City) and Hampshire College (in Amherst MASS). Eugene Lang is my number one choice, so I'm doing early decision. I'll be getting my apps in in the next 2 weeks, and I'll hopefully find out by December 1st-15th. DOn't worry, you will KNOW where and when I get into school. My screams of joy will be heard across the country. *keeps fingers crossed!* I'm hoping to study english and writing (focusing on journalism) and minor or double major in photography. The thing about Eugene Lang is that you can take classes in the other New Schools. Guess what's part of the New School..... PARSONS! That's where Tim Gunn teaches and project Runway's filmed!! So if I get excepted to Eugene Lang, I can take classes there!! It's such a great art school. It's not totally money, because the tickets are fairly cheap and I'm lucky that being still living with my parents, I don't have to pay for education or food or clothes on my own (YET :uhoh: ), but.. I'm just really worried about burning out. I went to a ton of gigs in September, and I think the Strokes gig just killed me :laugh4: so I'm taking November off. Phew. It feels nice!! Oh yeah, all venues say that. It's not listened to, though. There'll be line leaders who know how it works who will start the line somewhere "off" venue premises. Then probably at 9am or 10am, the line will move onto the venue area. U2 fans are really good, or at least they are here. Very organized, giving out numbers to people and making sure NO ONE cuts. I aspire to be one of those line leaders one day :smug: :laugh4:
