Yeah, I'm convinced the only place I'll ever meet a guy is either when I'm off at college or in a GA queu for a band :laugh4: I've met a few guys, but I'm always too much of a pussy to ask for a number. Aren't THEY supposed to do that?! Men! Honestly!!! My withdrawal is pretty....... I mean, I'm ok. I think it was really surreal so I'm just like very :stunned: about it whenever I think back to it. They're really the only band I feel like seeing right now. I miss them!! But I have their music, and I have youtube, so I'm doing ok. Seeing these pictures though... wow. I don't feel any sadness that it's over and they're not coming back (I saw them 3 times in like... 3 months, that's pretty good!). It's more like "wow, that was incredible, and next time whenever that is will be incredible too!" Sigh. I hope they do come back and WITH ALBERT. I'm getting really scared that they're going to break up :\

^:( Well, I am sure they'll be back, as I'm sure they'll do more of a tour here! I don't mind it not being soon, in fact I'm taking a self administered hiatus from gigs for no reason other than I don't want to burn out. So I'm not going to see anyone all November, only seeing We Are Scientists in December and then hopefully in the new year I'll be all ready with money saved to check out more bands! I hope they come in early '07, definately! :D I don't care when, just as long as they DO! haha

WOW!!! These photos are amazing! They make me really want to go there.... I think the goal of photography is not just to produce a beautiful image, but to also convey a place/person/thing and make others love and respect it. ;) You've definatly succeeded! great job :D

But once the Strokes came on I literally forgot all about him until the next morning when I was like "Yanno, I think I hit on a guy last night other than the band... who the hell.... OH YEAH" LMFAO!!!! Oh, life! And I'm totally going to find his name. Seriously, a hot photographer who looked around 20ish.... PERFECTION. It was really insane, really really insane. When he came down I literally was fearing for my life. I thought I was going to be like Steph at her Arctics gig, and have to get pulled out! It huuuuurt in there :stunned: But I was so into the music I literally didn't feel anything, no joke. It was like that at Oxegen festival, and it's why I love them so much. They have such power and just..... an insane coolness factor that numbs everything else out of you. I know at Oxegen I felt like shit (hadn't eaten in over a day, nothing to drink, freezing cold, it was a mess lmfao), and the second they came on I just.... went off somewhere else. It was awesome. But I really did realize that it was pretty insane whenever Julian came around. I think I grabbed him half for protection cuz people were pulling at me. Nope, I only found the Julian pictures. Then again, I randomly happened upon them in a Julian community, so I'm in the process of trying to find others. But I have a feeling, due to the fact that security was so militant (bad) and really had an eye out, she only took Jules ones. All the other guys looked really great, and oh man I could have gotten so many incredible shots of Nick, him in the light.. it was just perfect... FUCK. LUPOS. :laugh4: ugh! OH MY GOD. I found pictures from my gig. This girl was right next to me the whole time, I'm positive. They're not that great, since if you used flash security would see you, your photography cover would be blown, and you'd be bye bye bye out of the venue. I fucking hate Lupos a lot, I don't plan on going to shows there anymore unless it's a great band playing. But anyways, that's not anything to do with the Strokes. Plus their lighting was impossible to get a good shot with. *sigh* Anyhoo. I flipped a bit when I saw these lmfao oh my god, this is from when I touched him and ended up kind of pulling him down. Seriously. He gave me the hottest look ever.... it was like "lolz nuh uh girlfriend"... oh lordy. So yes, these are basically the shots I WOULD have got if Lupos didn't have it's figurative head up it's preverbial ass all the time. :rolleyes:
