i like the fact that it's named amsterdam... it leaves the song open for interpitasion, and gives it something unknown. Almost like it's writer didn't even know... maybe they should've named it "unknown".. but amsterdam fits perfectly :)

to me Embrace's version sounds like there's no emotion in it at all... coldplay's version makes me feel so much... like some songs do. And i feel like Embrace sort of ruined it... i think that since it's live it sounds really real- but i would cut out the audience. oh and the sound really is very low, i get really startled if i forget to turn the volume back down

i hate when people say that... i'm sure it has a deeper meaning than we may understand... probably makes alot of sense to chris... Xmas tree... lol :) I just really like this song, you just feel a connection to music for no apparent reason. I especially like the end: What good is it to live with nothing left to give. forget but nor forgive not loving all you see!

ummm amsterdam. green eyes, gravity. and the scientist made me cry once.

I prefer speed of sound as a SINGLE, because it's better for the masses but overall i like fix you better, i just don't think that alot of non coldplay fans will connect with it

i eat realllllly fast, and i also eat alot. I'm talking amounts that could feed dozens of people... luckily i don't gain weight at all :) Well, i also excersize 3 times a week, but i don't think that makes a diffirence. I've weighed the same for the past like, 3 years.

yeah i know the ramaddan... we studied the islamic relegion alot.. also because i study arabic, so among that we also learn about the arabian culture... you're also not allowed to have sex or drink alcohol :P

mechanical pencil tv shows or movies?

yes... there are 3 holidays in October- Rosh Hashana (which is the jewish new year), and we're on holiday for it now, up untlil wednesday. Then school again on thursday... the week after that there's a 2 day holiday because of yom kippur, that's when we fast for 25 hours. I don't though, cause i'm not really relegious. And the week after that there's a 10 day holiday called Succot. That's when we build this thing, like a small rook from wood and you're suppose to eat there the whole holiday... but again i'm not very relegious so i don't

i'm abit bummed they are releasing Talk... not one of my favorites on the album.. i would've liked if they'd released A Message. about fix you, I know alot of people from this forum really like it, I do too, but it's more a song that we'd like, but alot of people i talked to really didn't like it. They say it sounds abit too winy. They also don't play it as much as they did Speed of Sound

it's so nice that the holidays are coming up... the whole of october is practically school- free :).... that'll be nice
