I'm looking for the video of Coldplay performing Midnight live. It was uploaded to their own channel, possibly as part of the Ghost Stories tour but I can't remember. It seems that they've taken it down unfortunately.

Yeah, I found a 'demo' of Gravity on there but I figured out that it was the same one that I had before which is just the Embrace version with Chris Martin's vocals edited over it. I had thought it was a new leak, but the file was uploaded in 2022. Crisis averted. Annoyingly the site isn't working for me, sending me to the Google Public DNS page, so I can't download much at the moment except when it occasionally works.

Thanks for posting all these, it's really useful. Some of the songs have been added to Genius lyrics already, which is useful, but not all of them.

To be honest I quite liked One World as it was in concert, although it could do with having a bit more going on.

As a follow-up to this, I was phoning Chris the other day and he was giving me some more information on She's An Alien. He said that when they were in Shoeburyness in October they met an amazing medium who got them in touch with John Lennon, who helped to write the song. He also sent me on Discord the cover art and back cover for the album; I've attached it below.

At this rate they'll revive David Bowie to force him to perform guest vocals on Lhuna.

I do remember The Rocket being talked about but not much more than that. And yes Robot leaked and is clearly very unfinished. Quite frankly, the version released as part of the leaks is just a bit crap.

I actually know Chris Martin personally (I just got back from Wetherspoons, we were having dinner together) and he actually told me the track list for the next album. The Race Higher Power (Hello Steve Reich Mix by James Murphy for the DFA) The Man Who Swears UFO iv Good Feelings Broken (alternate version) Weirdo Videotape (Radiohead cover) Quantum of Solace (Viva La Vida-era demo Bond theme) Lhuna (feat. Kylie Minogue) Ashford International (twenty minute sound recording of trains and announcements at Ashford International train station) She's An Alien (hidden track; Coldplay/Beatles co-written) The album comes in at just under an hour long, and will be free to owners of Music of The Spheres Volume 1 (on iTunes only). He said that there's an extended version of Ashford International that might be included on the deluxe Kids Bop version, and that depending on fan reception they may released an extended version of the album next year with A View From The Top and a cover of the entire The Next Day album by David Bowie, including the bonus tracks.

It's back up. Most of the Coldplay leaks are gone. I assume that Chris Martin uncharacteristically threatened to hurt the owners of the site if they didn't take their songs down. That's a joke by the way.

Dbree seems to be down, whether it's a temporary thing or not I don't know. Was The Only One just a snippet?

I wouldn't say it has next to no chance of releasing, People of The Pride evolved out of an old Viva La Vida demo and Gravity was a Parachutes demo initially. But of course, nothing is confirmed.

With the recent leaks it might be worth considering what could be on the next album beyond the songs we already know are or were meant for it. While I always hope for a proper release of The Race I'll be cautious to put it on any suggested tracklist like I did for MOTS1. Tomorrow jumps out to me as being the most obvious inclusion as it sounds finished and is overall a high quality song. It has issues but I'd be happy for it to be released as it is now. As for the other recent leaks I'm not completely convinced by any of them, but since they have been mentioned before Weirdo and Car Kids are likely or at least possible inclusions. I have no hope of Wedding Bells and Famous Old Painters ever releasing, unless the dodgy accounts on here that speak very vaguely about the leaks are correct about the final album.

When MOTS1 came out in 2021 I thought (among others) that it would be about a year until MOTS2 would come out, based on the suggested 'end' of Coldplay being 2025. If you'd told me in 2021 that we're looking at a release late in 2024 I'd have thought you were joking. The reason I started this thread so early was because I thought it wouldn't be long until it came out and that if I didn't start it someone else would at a similar time (actually I think someone did make another MOTS2 thread that was merged with mine). I really hope the lengthy wait will be worth it.

Considering no evidence has been provided# I think we'll continue those so-called bad feelings and not consider that it might be true. That is unless you can provide some irrefutable evidence for it.
