AHFOD Era Leaks
If this is about the leak I mentioned, they don't exist, but if there were any VLV leaks I'm sure people here know what happened.

AHFOD Era Leaks
It was a joke, but I am sure there's at least one or two VLV demos lying around somewhere.

AHFOD Era Leaks
Well, this is all very interesting... I paid £24.56 for 612 Viva La Vida demos and a GTA Shark Card, this forum doesn't know what's coming...

If MOTS1 killed part of their fanbase, I guess they must have killed even more with Mylo Xyloto, Ghost Stories, A Head Full Of Dreams and Kaleidoscope...

Remember that Coldplay consider LeftRightLeftRightLeft an actual album, and I believe they see Sao Paolo in that way as well.

Coldplay Songs Not On Spotify
Great to finally have it on Spotify! It's my favourite remix of Midnight and I think I might actually like it more than the original.

As a demo, maybe. But absolutely not in its current form.

I find that the transition between ASFOS and Coloratura is pretty much identical to the transition between Infinity Sign and Coloratura. They're both loud, party songs followed by the quieter, complex symphony that is Coloratura. My opinion on Infinity Sign when I first listened to MOTS was that I didn't know why it was there (especially when we were thinking IS was going to be Life Is Beautiful) and that the drum beat (?) was too loud. But over time, just like with Higher Power, I started to appreciate it more and now it's one of my favourites from the album. But more importantly, I feel IS is not just a good song, but integral to the success of Coloratura. Chris described the interlude tracks as palette-cleansers, and in a way IS is just a long palette-cleanser. On a full listen to the album, Coloratura would have stuck out like a sore thumb if it followed Biutyful and My Universe. Coloratura, like the nebula it represents, is so separate from the rest of the album it needed to be distinctively be apart for it to have its full effect. A Sky Full Of Stars on Ghost Stories is in a similar position. The gap between Oceans and it is significant, and you get this explosion of music, followed by one of Coldplay's saddest songs, Fly On. And after that, there's a haunting hidden track. Maybe ASFOS is needed to separate Oceans and Fly On, or perhaps it represents something. I don't know. And yes, I do agree the album does seem to take a lot from past albums. The interludes, MOTS1 and Alien Choir in particular, sound like they've come straight out of Mylo Xyloto - as does Humankind. Let Somebody Go and Human Heart feel a lot like Ghost Stories songs, and I think that applies to Infinity Sign as well. The only songs I think couldn't have been from an older album are Biutyful and Coloratura, but I think that's a good thing. Coloratura in particular is a song that couldn't possibly have been written by old Coldplay; it's just too complex, like how David Bowie could only have written his song Blackstar with the experience he'd had before. Similarly, Lazarus and I Can't Give Everything Away (the absolute final song in Bowie's discography), both from his final album Blackstar, could only have been written by Bowie in the position he was in when he wrote them. I'd also have said People Of The Pride is very different, but taking into account Arabesque's ending, it could easily have fit in Everyday Life. Still, it's one of my favourite Coldplay songs ever.

A Sky Full Of Stars followed by Coloratura is quite frequent for these shows, isn't it? I guess it does make sense...

Track 11 - Infinity Sign (stylised as ♾) | Music of the Spheres
If MOTSv1 ended with Infinity Sign, it would have made sense to have v2 start with Infinity Sign Part 2 or whatever it'll be called. But since it ends with Coloratura, the nice transition can't happen. And either way, Coloratura is too good an ending to be a transition to another song. Remember when we all thought IS was Life Is Beautiful, maybe ISP2 is actually LiB?

According to Spotify I am in the top 0.1% of Coldplay listeners... And yes, my most listened to Coldplay song was Coloratura (although it didn't make it into my top 10 or even 15 songs of the year on my Wrapped).

BTS Banner
Hopefully it isn't just a problem with my browser, but at least for me the banner and latest news article haven't been updated for ages. The main headline is still the announcement of My Universe, and the banner images are still the Coldplay and BTS promotional photos. It does feel a bit jarring.

In the music video for Higher Power, MOTS is described as being in 'three parts'... I am sure there are other reasons though.

I hope I'm not the only person thinking the lyrics for this song are surprisingly good... They seem to have put some effort into them.

Some baseless speculation: if Coloratura is the nebula of the spheres, maybe the next set of planets will start from there. Maybe we'll get a Coloratura Part 2 or something like that...

Let Somebody Go is pretty much confirmed to be a single, but I'd say either Humankind or People Of The Pride could be singles, but not both. I could see however the other song being included on a future EP (Aurora?) should there be one. A rumour elsewhere is that it refers to the final album, Coldplay, and stands for Finale For The Fans 2024. If it's true, and assuming Coldplay go ahead with the second and third parts of MOTS, it would mean Coldplay would be releasing a new album every year until 2024. After Coldplay/FFTF2024, who knows what will come next. I'm quite tempted to start a MOTSv2 thread even before we know it's going to happen.- Coldplay On The BBC Yesterday
I was sent an email from my father that he watched ten minutes of Coldplay on a BBC channel? I checked the TV guide and it wasn't a separate programme. Was it in The One Show? Also, what was the set list? There was a song he liked that I believe to be Human Heart, but I'm not sure.- The Race (unreleased song)
When you say 'Magic official release' do you literally mean the song Magic? If so, they sound nothing alike, and even if they did, this is the same band that released Proof and Gravity, which are almost identical, and Speed Of Sound which was just Clocks 2...- Overtura / MOTS2
Something strange I noticed... On the album, MOTS2 is the strange interlude with the alien voices, but in Overtura, the calm bit before the outro of My Universe is listed as MOTS2, and the alien voice interlude track is nowhere. Also in Overtura, the transition between Biutyful and 'MOTS2' is strangely natural, compared to much of the rest of Overtura, which seems strangely strung together. Perhaps - and this is just a theory - the gap in My Universe is an original version of MOTS2 and the current MOTS2 was a last-minute addition. Thoughts? - 🪐 Coldplay: Music of the Spheres 🪐 | Out Now! | Discussion
