  1. Aeterna isolated in (relatively) high quality. Gives a glimpse of what the album version would sound like!
  2. Really? I posted this here because I was there and it was - in my opinion - the highlight of the show. The fact that a decent quality recording ended up on their YouTube made it even better. Thanks for the sign!
  3. Chris Martin โ€˜singingโ€™ How To Save A Life by The Fray:
  4. Chris Martin โ€˜singingโ€™ yesterday by The Beatles:
  5. So, I just stumbled upon the very first A.I. generated Chris Martin vocals! Track: "Somewhere only we know" by Keane, but "performed" by Chris Martin. The implications of this are quite insane: Fans who prefer the 'old' Coldplay will be able to generate such songs in the near future. Perhaps this thread could serve as a log for all A.I. generated Coldplay content that will emerge in the future, or discussion thereof. Take care!
  6. Personally cannot help you with confirming whether it's authentic or not. However: Who did you buy it from? What was the seller's story? Did the seller appreciate the item for what it is? Such questions - though obviously not confirming the authenticity - do give an impression on what to expect.
  7. Impressive! Great job!
  8. Love it! Did you have the separate tracks or did you isolate them yourself? If you did, would it work the same for Biutyful? Iโ€™d be very curious to hear that track without the pitched vocals!
  9. What's the last time Coldplay performed ..... live? Since the start of the tour, Coldplay performed song's like Gravity, Green Eyes etc. This got me wondering: what are the most recent dates 'rare' songs were performed live? It'd be fun to have an overview of this! I'll start: the last time 'Amsterdam' was performed - in it's entirety - was in Amsterdam 24/06/16 Definition of rare: Anything! I'd say a song you'd love to hear them play live / you'd feel luck if you got to hear it live.
  10. That leaves one question unanswered: Why was Humankind not released as a single? It's so good!
  11. Another quick question: it is becoming clear that - with this new Album and for example its collaborations - Coldplay produces music with the intention of appealing to a โ€˜newโ€™ generation of fans. Knowing that, it is much easier to โ€˜acceptโ€™ songs such as My Universe, or a collaboration with someone like Selina Gomez. It does leave me wondering though: why do they choose to incorporate so few elements that most people would argue are typical โ€˜Coldplayโ€™ in their new songs, but then release a single song - Coloratura - which is like fully covered with Coldplay elements? My Universe could have been better received by large audiences if they had added a little more of that style which people โ€˜expectโ€™ from Coldplay.
  12. Quick question: am I wrong to assume that - given the fact that My Universe has not even passed the 50M streams on Spotify - this song is, just like Higher Power, not really well received by mainstream audiences, given the number of monthly listeners that Coldplay typically have on for example Spotify?
  13. I am surprised the following only hit me now: - The AHFOD-movie version of "The Race" literally shares the same type of beat as "Lovers In Japan" (the snare drum in particular), it's just a little faster in "The Race" - The second line of "Lovers in Japan" even contains "until the race is run", the AHFOD-movie version of "The Race" contains: "I keep racing until the race is run". It makes me think that the version from the AHFOD-movie is in fact an - of course updated - version that was created before the Ghost Stories version. This makes me curious which version they intend to release in the future.
  14. Itโ€™s almost surreal that they have released this song essentially out of nowhere. Itโ€™s beautiful.
  15. Curious about your opinion! Essentially, I have a really hard time wrapping my head around the fact that Coldplay genuinely seems to be content about the music they create these days. Any mainstream artist could have released 'My Universe' and absolutely no person would have associated it with a Coldplay song, even fans who know what to look for. A song like A Sky Full Of Stars was EDM / Pop, but still contained Coldplay-like elements such as the chord progression of the piano, the acoustic guitar, the electric guitar, etc. Thoughts?
  16. Anyone spotted this? Or just an error on Spotify?
  17. Curious to see what you guys think! Either Coldplay no longer cares about being authentic, and put commercial succes above creating original music. Or, they have lost touch with what their fans like (both old and new ones). Proof: 1. Higher power does poor on Spotify in streams given their total monthly listeners, despite a major commercial push. 2. Coldplay claims to perform live, but in fact vocals of two different 'live' performances are identical (Brits & Idols). 3. During the brits they posted a picture indicating they were about to get on stage outside the O2, despite the performance being recorded a few days before that. 4. The acoustic version of 'higher power' does not have authentic vocals, but the ones identical to the original. 5. The Higher Power CD single was promoted as "extremely limited" on Facebook, yet is even for sale in physical stores. Thoughts?
  18. So: 1. At the beginning of the show you can clearly hear "Music Of The Spheres" being pronounced by the automated voice. 2. The music playing at the intro of the show seem to me like "A hopeful transmission" etc. Most likely a new song as such! 3. Another brand new song (which reminds me very much of "When I Need A Friend") was played. 4. The intro of this new song (before Chris sings) - as well as the intro of the show when the words 'music of the spheres' can be heard - seem super identical to the synths / pads on Ghost Stories. 5. It is very clear that the works on this - likely - new album have been produced in / around the same time as Everyday Life. It makes total sense that Orphans would have been on this new album (as the band indicated) and likewise, the new song they played today would have fitted perfectly on Everyday Life. Exciting!
  19. Also the same issue. Anyone who has received a personal reply regarding the issue?
  20. New Coldplay track that can be heard alongside the fireworks in front of the O2? https://twitter.com/londonviewpts/status/1388451047488819204?s=20
  21. It's available alongside all previous album covers.
