  1. They did something similar in LA a few weeks ago. Definitely feels like new music could be coming later this year. Not sure it's a hint at a more intimate era coming though. This feels kind of similar to the moon lounge that they did for a while during the MOTS tour in 2024 in the run up to MM. Also, Chris basically confirmed that they're planning a total of 360 gigs for the MOTS tour, and during Wembley N10 in September last year he hinted at them taking a break, before returning for an Africa leg in around 18 months (so around March 2027).
  2. Please could you PM it to me as well? Thank you! ☺️
  3. Personally, I think it's difficult to say because there are maybe different definitions for "Golden Era". I think plenty of people will prefer their older musical styles, and not their latter years move into a more overtly pop sound, in which case the Parachutes/AROBTTH/X&Y era would be considered the golden era. Many would simply look at success/prominence/relevance in pop culture, in which case I'd say the X&Y-Viva la Vida era would easily be the golden era, as that is when the band were at their biggest and most influential. They were now in the "biggest band in the world" conversation, both albums were the biggest selling in the world during their release years, the band started to sell out stadiums, and I think you can trace the origins of much of what has followed (both musically and in the blueprint for their live performance) back to the VlV album. But having said that, some could argue that the current era is the golden one. The band are still very popular, with albums topping the charts. Their current tour is breaking records all over the world, is the most attended of all time, has led to reviews and reports hailing them as the best live act in the world and plenty of viral success for the band, drawing in new audiences. For me, all of the above leaves me inconclusive, and I think just goes to highlight an impressive career in which they have sustained success, and in many ways continued on an upward trajectory - something that only a handful of acts can lay claim to.
  4. Absolutely, I think if you queue early you could get barrier or second row. I'm not sure what the flow for GA queueing is like, so I couldn't really advise on queuing for it tbh.
  5. Hey, are you GA or EE? I'll be there in the EE queue. There will be loads of people going on there own, but part of the fun is meeting eachother in the queue and making new friends 🙂 so I promise you'll be fine.
  6. Could you message me too please? Thanks!
  7. I went to two Manchester gigs alone this year and had a great time. I met so many people there - including plenty of faces to put to twitter handles - that I'm still in touch with and hoping to meet up with again at next year's gigs, which I'll be going to alone again. Even if you're shy, I promise you have nothing to worry about. Coldplayers are the best bunch of people, and of course you'll have at least one thing in common with the people around you so you won't be stuck for conversation 🤣
  8. Ah right, congrats to your friend that’s so cool! Err next question then I guess, how does Debs have their email addresses? 😂
  9. I’ve seen a couple of posts from recent tour dates where groups of fans have met the band, I can’t say for certain but from the posts it sounds like the fans were picked out at the gigs rather than having meet & greet tickets. So, just wondering if that is the case and how it works? Not because I’m hoping one day it’ll happen to me (but of course that’d be amazing) but more just because I’m genuinely curious.
  10. I'm going to two Manchester dates (again early entry) and I've been told there's 800 early entry tickets for those gigs, so I'd say 800-900 would be a good guess for the Cardiff gigs. After my experience at Wembley, it's disheartening because there will be people queuing all day with GA tickets hoping to get to the barrier, unaware of early entry tickets making it unlikely they'll be able to get right to the front. At least these only account for the first couple of rows, but it's bad that if you want to get to the barrier you've got to pay extra for the early access.
  11. I had early entry at Wembley stadium last year. There were around 1000 early entry tickets and that was enough to fill out the front row around the stage/catwalk/b-stage, so I'm afraid with general entry it's unlikely you'll get on the barrier. If you're willing to queue all day (i.e. from the morning) to be near the front of the GA queue I'd say you've got a good chance of getting to the 2nd row. Hope this helps!
  12. I noticed there aren't any topics for the upcoming 2023 dates of the tour, so thought I'd make a start. I'm gonna be at two of the nights in Manchester (31st May and 3rd June) and after seeing them at Wembley last year I can't wait. Let me know if you're gonna be there, and let's get chatting in a (feeble) attempt to pass the time until the day comes!

  14. Hi, are these patches still available? And do they iron or or need to be sewn on? Thanks!
  15. I honestly don’t understand how ticket queues work. I think it’s fair to say ticketmaster is an absolute shambles. I managed to get tickets for Manchester/31st May on gigsandtours, was on my laptop and phone and about 20 minutes in decided I may as well try on my iPad too. Anyway, guess which one I managed to ge through on… that’s right folks, the iPad! So if I took away anything from the experience, it’s try multiple agents on multiple devices and try a mix of joining the queue early and joining it a few minutes late. I also managed to get tickets for the Saturday. My advice for that would be, where you’re anticipating extra dates added, the seem to always be added in half hour intervals (Manchester was 9:30am and 10am), so if you get through but the OG dates are sold out, just stay on and refresh at those times. I refreshed 9:30am and spotted the third date added before anything was posted on social media. Might not help for this tour, but hopefully for the future!
  16. I was at Wembley on Saturday (20th) and it didn’t fill up to the back where the C stage is until nearer the start of the gig. Regarding early entry tickets, I asked a couple of the stewards and they both said there were 1000 tickets. This looked like it equated to basically the first couple of rows in front of the stage/catwalk/b-stage. I had an early entry ticket and started queueing at around 10:30am. What surprised me was that the vast majority of people didn’t actually start queueing until around 3:30pm onwards ready for entry at 4:30pm. Priority check-in opened at 1:30pm and I reckon by that point there were maybe only 100 people in the queue. The GA was obviously much longer by that point.
