Why!!!! I've been waiting for this (as for all other Coldplay videos)!!! This era all videos have been released as surprises!!! Or just with one day of anticipation, but I've been lucky to see them just as they're released, I mean, immediately!!! I hope this one is not the excepetion :D

I can say that first... it wasnt kind of anything new for me... since they were live streaming everything and I got the chance to go to one of the festivals... so by the time the album came out, I had already heard practically all of the songs... I knew they were going to continue with this "beat" "hit" kind of "happy" and "catchy" sound... and they did! that was good, because it's a different time of their career.... at the beginning I kind of missed their first trilogy of albums, but then I realized how good Mylo Xyloto is! Probably for a fan is a weak album compared with the others, but in a general view it is really awesome! At the beginning I loved Hurts Like Heaven and Up With The Birds, those were the most played ,and now I hear a lot Us Against The World and Dont Let It Break Your Heart and this last one is becoming one of my favorites... In the festivals the one that I loved was Major Minus cuz of their mystic sound, and of course why not ETIAW cuz it's a summer anthem... but definitely, the one that was my favorite from the beginning and it has remained is Charlie Brown!!! ♥!!! :D I love that song... it makes me sad the way they "released" it, but it's ok... xD

:( I slept at 2 am here in Mexico just to hear the MASSIVE news... they've had a lot of Live streamings that now for me this is everything but massive. totally disappointed I went to bed.

Charlie Brown got #22 in UK Charts despite being a single released/unreleased... For me it's over for Charlie Brown... but When did it happen? They did really bad and I dont know why... I dont really understand why they decided to do it like they did... I just know it's over and it makes me sad to know that I'm not the only one disappointed with this ... Actually, there are a couple of more threads talking about the same thing since weeks ago. I know Charlie Brown isnt their greatest song ever... but for me it is the best of Mylo Xyloto and it could've been a great hit... Probably not like #1 Paradise because that one is really catchy... but at least gettin higher positions and gaining more popularity among people if they would've changed a few facts about it: In my opinion they should've played it in the Grammys... what they did was taking advantage of Paradise popularity... but, come on! Paradise was an already very well-known and hit single by that time... most of people had already heard it. They should've played Charlie Brown.... When they played Charlie Brown in BRIT Awards song came from #30 to #22 (its highest position).... If they had combined BRITS + Grammys + Release it as a proper single with its own cover and a couple of B-sides ... it would've been for sure a biggest success... Probably not enought to get #1 since its more like a fan-song than a general-audience one... but I'm pretty sure it would've been in a better position than it did and other people would knew about the song... :( It's just I keep asking myself why hahaha... but well.... I'm a Charlie Brown lover :D!

That is never going to happen now :( ... I'm huge fan of Charlie Brown... I like Paradise but I'm also part of those who were surprised when it came to Number 1 (it's great for me! since at the end is Coldplay...) but I also thought that Charlie Brown or even other songs from MX could've done better if they were properly released! Charlie Brown time has already passed ... it was in the UK charts, and it reached it's highest when they performed it Live at BRIT Awards (close to the video release)... it reached number 22 if I remember well... It was inclusively in a better place than Paradise... and I though it was going to be like that and for that moment on it would continue getting higher... but it didnt... every week it was getting down until it was out of the charts, while... (incredibely for me) , Paradise is still there... now it's number 50, but still there... :S And I agree with all of those who say that it's because it's "catchy"... even me, it got me when it was first released... but it was just a matter of days until MX came out and I found it it is not even part of my Top 5 in that album! This is so sad... as somebody said before... Charlie Brown has already (strangely) been released! and its time has passed.... So sad that they didnt release it properly! :( And ... I understand if some people thing that CB is not that great... but it's quite better than Paradise and PoC.. which is for me enough reason for the song to have an appropriate promotion and release and single and everything which it didnt.... :( ... anyways... YA QUE.

Yes... I actually know that many of those followers (probably half of them... I hope less than that)... are because of Viva La Vida or Paradise... and it would be better for me if they were because of Coldplay's entire work... but anyways, as I said, I'm happy every time they get to do something great, something huge, because they are a BIG band and I like to think that all of their success is just because of that :) I hope that at least some of those people who fell in love with Viva La Vida or Paradise decide to listen to more of their music and discover the complete great band they are!!! All I gotta say is I hated the decision of releasing Paradise single before Charlie Brown.... Charlie Brown had it all! and I hate that Oracle answered one of my questions saying "Paradise is more representative of what the album is".... ¬¬ =( ... I dont like this kind of things and totally agree that they meesed up the release of Charlie Brown single.... Even with that Song got to have the 22 place in the UK charts, but I certainly know it could've been better if they would have released as normal - Video, Single and Radio plays at the same time.

Hi everyone! Probably this is not even important for some of you but I was just having a lazy time at work and started checking internet sites and so I got to a page with the Top Twitter accounts and I found out Coldplay is #38, but then I noticed that all others above them are single pop or rap artists, or politicians, or so... there's no other band (of any kind) above them, not U2, Muse, Jonas Brothers, Black Eyed Peas, LMFAO, Radiohead, Killers, Arcade Fire, Keane or whatever... which means Coldplay is #1: the most followed band on Twitter, hahaha :P What do you guys think about that? I personally get so happy everytime that I know about my favorite band success (Awards-winning, Charts-toppers, Gigs-sold out, Album sales), and I say, hey! they're doing great! But then sometimes... I remember when I was a Coldplay fan back on Parachutes/AROBTTH days, and I remember people thinking I was weird because nobody even knew about them (at least here in my country)... And, in some way I miss those days. I mean, I'm happy but their success, but somehow I preferred to be part of that special Audience they had before... :P Well, i just wanted to share this. Anyways! I'm happy Coldplay is above every band on Twitter :D!

You're wrong. The fact that they speak Spanish does not mean sound is different. My friends and I have already found 8 out of 10 songs which sound the same as Coldplay (not this one from the video... many of their other songs) video is exactly the same as ETIAW and LiJ ... (I know this is not a Coldplay -Exclusive) But counting the things this is number 2 Number 3 is outfits are Similar... and you know why? Because NO OTHER BANDS HERE IN MEXICO DRESS NON-NORMAL OUTFITS. It's hard to see bands dressing with "different" clothing... They always dress normal (Jeans, Tees) NEVER THIS. Number 4. Check the guys moves... it's SO COLDPLAY. :S it's not 1, 2, or 3, but 4 things they're copying! hahahaha. And I'm not bad with that, just want it to let you guys know the influences of our band :)

Now the Official Charts company in the UK says Charlie Brown gained popularity and now it's position 30!!! Paradise 23!!! So it seems Paradise is starting to come down while Charlie Brown goes up... they're changing places! No, those arent Mexican / Spanish outfits ... those are Coldplay alike outfits ! they even use the "things" in the arms and everything :S it's very similar to Coldplay... Also the sound it's the same... and not to say about their video "Cuarto Blanco"... if you guys checked the link it's same as ETIAW and Lovers In Japan... D: I dont know why they do that... they didnt copy just 1 thing or 2... they copied THE WHOLE THING...

I hope so!!! I hope it is a summer song!!! but I'm like worried since the video is already released... for me it's like... almost all the times Video and Single go out in a really close time!!! But yeah... Unfortunately "Paradise" is the "Viva La Vida" of this album and I like Paradise, but I dont think it's the "Coldplay" song to deserve that... I think that song is Charlie Brown (that's why I get so stressed hahahaha) But well... if people liked Paradise and it's gonna be like this... then... I wont complain anymore! Ok, I'm from Mexico and I'm not so proud of this... I know Coldplay it's been accused of plagiarism in different times, but being realistic it's just that they like to take some things from different bands but they always transform it into a new concept and something different... they're very original in their own way.... But now the thing is.... this band is not that they took some Coldplay ideas.... I'm gonna show you this video (from the newest singles of that band) where you can cleary see ALL OF THE FOLLOWING: - Clothing is the same to Coldplay "Viva La Vida" - Video is really similar to Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall with a little of Lovers In Japan - The movements of the guys are totally the same (specially the frontman copying Chris moving ways which are very "Chris") - The sound!!! they sound to some mixing of songs, Some people say Dont Let It Break Your Heart / Us Against The World / Strawberry Swing /... So what you think??? Yes, I'm talking about the BRITS graffiti wall... there's a promo video and all of the songs of MX are there, except for Charlie Brown and Don't Let It Break Your Heart (if I'm ok) ... and both are so good... I came to the conclusion they are underrating the song: 1. It was meant to be the single on September but then they (dont know if their managers or the band) changed their mind and decided to release Paradise. 2. At Grammys they decided to play Princess of China, I was already thinking it was the wrong decision, but then they informed they were gonna play 3 songs. 1 rihanna, 1 coldplay and 1 both... Charlie Brown video was already uploaded and Paradise is single since september (5 months old), so I thought it was pretty obvious they were going to play Charlie Brown, but then again, they made a plane performance with an acoustic version of PoC and the pacific Paradise... not explosive or amazing wonderful things that they could with Charlie. 3. No one certainly knows if there will be an official single release... in some countries they already play it on radio, others don't... there are some pics about a promo single which is only a promo and doesnt seem to be the official, and it seems they're going to release it as Download Single in UK on March 19th, but it's like... I dont think they're being intelligent... u,u anyways, it's just my thoughts and so many people here in my country, my friends and other people think the same as me. I ♥ Charlie Brown . I know is not their best song, and I know that it's my personal opinion, but I think the song has been somehow in the dark thru all the time... Only the Brits were the good thing, but then this graffiti... pfff
