Haha, yesterday there was an excessive heat warning in effect (actually there's one today too). I wonder whyyy. :laugh3: Well it's nice and windy today, and it's a bit more humid than yesterday but the wind makes up for it. It's 102F heat index is only 105F (40.5C). Haha, funny how I'm saying "only".

Panic! :P How do you react in an emergency? Okay, twice this week already, my sis and I got completely freaked out because we thought there was a buglar in our house. :laugh3: The first time, my sister was walking downstairs, and she darted back up saying "omg Alyssa, I think there's someone in the house--in the laundry room. I saw their shadow and once I started talking they paused"-- and then I heard the laundry room door shut, and my heart, like, skipped 2 beats. :laugh3: I ran into my sister's room and locked the doors, and we about to jump of my sister's balcony (and I was holding my sister's guitar to smash over someone's head in case) when we saw my dad's Lexus outside. Haha, I was so freaking relieved. "Shit! It was just dad!" I was so ready to freaking kill someone with that guitar. :laugh3: That was a major adrenaline rush though, haha. I felt really, uh, pumped afterward, lol. The second time, I walked in the house and I heard a door shut, so my sister and her boyfriends got our gun replicas, took of the orange tips (they look [and feel] real actually, haha), and ran upstairs. :laugh3: I heard another door shut and got hella freaked out, but it was just the pressure or something inside our house that was closing doors and such, haha. Oh yeah, and there's been many actually emergencies here... there's been earthquakes here quite often and the last one was pretty big :laugh3:. During every earthquake we dart outside, grabbing whatever on the way, haha. Oh yeah, and there was this convict guy running around our neighborhood and there was this helicopter circling over trying to find him. Eh, we locked all the doors. :uhoh: ANNYWAYYYY

hahaha. in the winter it gets as low as -2C here, and in the summer it gets up to, well, 48C. :laugh3:
