I don't remember exactly but something along the lines of that there is more to come (new songs) and I believe for the Christmas season. Maybe someone else can chime in.

At this point I have the feeling that they scrapped the idea of releasing the other songs from the rainbow. I was so certain that we gonna get some kind of EP (like the Viva Era with Prospects March) but it has been too long for it to make sense now. They did a lot of teasing (and even performing some songs) which makes me believe they at least intended some kind of release. Could still be for the next album but for me it would be kind of out of place with the album being star oriented and the songs belonging to a rainbow.... If I recall correctly there was this women which is quite close to them since the early days and she teased something on twitter as well. I believe this was after the Full Moon release so it couldn't have been that..

Moon Music had Atmos on release date. They removed it after that from all streaming services. Still unsure why.. To be fair, I am not a huge fan of the Coldplay Atmos catalogue. Most of the songs sound better in stereo. Moon Music was the first album that I really enjoyed in Atmos. Shame that it's gone..

I was hoping for a full EP, but I take Shine On as additional song any day.

There has to be some kind of rainbow EP. We have multiple teasers with Phil kind of confirming it consists of 3 parts. In the MM booklet we have 7 songs written in the rainbow (Chris also teased that the Rainbow is a teaser for the future). We already have: The Karate Kid Neon Forrest Man in the Moon Angel Song So still missing are: Sunshine Opus 5 M.U.S.I.C and Shine On has been teased many times. Neon Forrest technically didn't get the full release as well. All songs in full + Shine On would more than make up for an EP with 8 songs. Prospekt's March also had 8.. Edit: To further add to that theory. Shine On has been written in Rainbow colours as well.

I pre-ordered the single since I like both songs so much. Hopefully I have more luck this time with the correct order being sent. I expect it to be better now with the big album release behind us.

Not sure if this has been pointed out already, but the beginning of 🌈 has the first lyrics of The Karate Kid. I am sure there are even more references for upcoming songs in this one. Edit: There is also a snippet of Man in the Moon after NF. With the booklet it makes a lot more sense: Therefore we have The Karate Kid, then NF after that the high pitched vocals are Sunshine. Opus 5 is the acoustic guitar and after the Man in the Moon we have M.U.S.I.C. I believe this proofs that Sunshine is not Shine On. We are also still missing Luna and Aiko. There is definitely enough material for an EP.

Has anyone gotten a reply from the Coldplay Store yet? They've sent me the wrong order. The problem is that the notebook edition can't be ordered anymore so I don't see myself getting one if they don't respond to me. At least I have the voice memos now but I really wanted the notebook. I will probably go through paypal to get my money back.. If anyone knows where do find the notebook in a digital version please let me know.

Maybe the 🌈 voice memo is another preview for the next album? Chris mentioned this in the Zane Lowe interview and this voice memo is the only one that has nothing to do with the original song. There is definitely a Love In A Lethal Dose part in there and it sounds amazing IMO. If that song ends up on the next album in this version, it can't come soon enough...

They still haven't responded to you? Yesterday I received my package of the pre-ordered Notebook Edition CD and in the box was just the standard vinyl which I didn't order. I sent them an email yesterday but I guess I will be waiting a long time for a response.

Was thinking about this as well. I hope that they continue working with him for the final two albums, would be so amazing. They also included Max Martin at the end of EL, so it wouldn't be completely new for them doing something like this.

If you have a VPN it is possible. I've tried it yesterday and it took me a few times before the message (you are outside the UK..) disappeared. After that you can click on the livestream and it says you need to sign in. I created a fake account and it actually seems to work. They will ask you again once you are logged in if you have a TV license which I confirmed and it was working..

What FLAC files are you referring to? If you are using Apple Music, you can switch it to lossless (somewhere in the settings) which gives you the same quality.

Man this sounds amazing, thanks for sharing. Do you think it would be possible to share a 256/320kbps version, as the YT compression is really harsh.

My guess is that Vol.2 2022, maybe 2023 No Vol.3 (only 3 parts and 2 volumes) A "smaller" album kind of like EL or maybe a musical? Since Chris mentioned Weirdo... FFTF2024/Coldplay is their last album? This schedule is very tight though, so I kinda doubt that they are going to release 3 albums in 3 years. I'm certain they will release most of their old stuff at some point but the question is. Is it indeed for their last proper album or will they just release it as a separate thing for everyone who wants to listen to it, but no major promotion?
