It goes "tie yourself to a mast" EDIT: Whoops. I think the part you were talking about goes "Put yourself on my back"
  3. 8notes.com has good electronic sheets.
  4. I'll give you the intro+chorus. All played on G -8-8-8-6-6-9-9-9-6-6-8-8-8-6-6-1-1-4-4-6-8-8-8-ETC-8-8-8-6-6-9-9-9-9-14-14-14-16-16-13(wiggle your finger back and forth on the 13)-6-6-s8-s4 sorry if that came out horrible. The notes are perfect though I assure you. The small "s"'s that I made mean slide your finger up without plucking the string.
  5. The thumb is just a regular part of playing guitar, if I'm not mistaken.
  6. Not bad at all. Some of it sounds kind of clashy at times, but that is to be expected. Great job.
  7. I'm pretty sure the dude meant Guy's mini keyboard that they use for some synth and SoS live.
  8. I have no clue how to play chords on guitar :P I just know how to play tabs.
  9. I don't think Amsterdam is in Eb. I think it's in E or Db.
  10. The 40 year old virgin joke, obviously.
  11. I never said I was better than you. As it sounds, you're playing it right except for the octave. Just kick it up one octve and it'll be right.
  12. It's in the wrong octave first of all. I don't know how you could miss that. However, good job. I guess everyone has to start somewhere eh?
  13. Amsterdam Look After You (The Fray) Over my Head Cable Car (ditto)
  14. Is there any way to do it? I have an Ibanez Telecaster. The small E string pickup is pretty bad.
  15. Any comments?
  16. That was good!

I like the live version at 'Splendor in the Grass' best, followed by their performance at the Brixton Academy.
  18. I don't think anyone in the world knows how to play the exact live versions like Chris does.
  19. It's not exactly right, and I realize I didn't do the whole song, but it's electric and sounds like they play it live (sort of). BTW I'm playing an Ibanez Telecaster. http://rapidshare.de/files/34697916/Don_t_Panic_Moi.mp3.html And if someone could post the correct chorus chords tab that'd be cool.
  20. OK, so the first chord is (C, F, Ab) right? F would be the middle note because it's in between C and Ab. This is just how I do it, anyways. And the left hand is hard to explain. During the solo it plays 2 octaves down from the right hand. For the first chord it's just straight F notes all the way through. Second chord it's C# and F. Third chord it's D# and Ab (above the D#). Fourth chord it's D# and A#, and then halfway through that switch the A# to straight G notes. Sorry if I explained it poorly, but I assure you it sounds correct when you play it.
  21. Same thing you just bring the left hand one octave up and you throw the middle note in there as well for the left hand. And during the solo the right hand doesn't play any of the middle notes. Actually the right hand doesn't play the middle notes at all.
  22. Look After You by The Fray
  23. I found an accurate version of "Look After You" sounds right. http://911tabs.com/link/?2443144
  24. Chris usually plays the chords and acoustic guitar
