  1. Violet Hill vs. Shiver
  2. I agree, especially since that has some elaborate details and stuff that he usually has but aren't on merch (patches etc.)
  3. Strawberry Swing vs. The Karate Kid
  4. OKAY. So I was going to review what i thought of the songs after hearing Moon Music but Full Moon just came out?!?! So I'll do it as I listen to this version.... What in the Taylor Swift is this move though?? Disc 1 MOON MUSiC- Actually very good. Love Chris on this one, even as it is an odd start to the album. I really like it, its beautiful, and its lyrics aren't just Lalala so thats always a plus on Moon Music. feelslikeimfallinginlove- Not as bad as My Universe or Higher Power in terms of MOTS singles but come on. Its a sweet little song, but not interesting to me in the slightest and theres no reason to listen to it. WE PRAY- Although not my favorite song, its SO INTERESTING, reminiscent of EL. The only reason it might not fit on EL is that it's not acoustic-y. I really love this one, and with the features. It isn't boring, at least conceptually. My only dislike is that it just isn't that good, and ALSO has the Moon Music lalala'sā„¢. Jupiter- A tad boring, but it's pretty quiet and sweet. It's dreamy and relaxing, except the lalala's. The extra part of the song at the end is better than the whole rest of the song, in my opinion. GOOD FEELiNGS- I legitimately hate this song. It sounds like the Just Dance theme song or something. Its only good feature is the one verse with the other singer, other than those few seconds its like nails on a chalkboard to me. 🌈- Some lovely song snippets, not much of a cohesive song. I've seen that its a teaser for the musical? Very nice, but not really a song iAAM- I actually love this one. Its so cheesy and preachy lovey-dovey Coldplay garbage, but I feel well done. It reminds me of Humankind. That's good because I happen to like Humankind, at least its one of the tolerable ones in MOTS AETERNA- Also reminds me of Just Dance background music. Its just a dance song, barely counts as a song to me because when am I going to listen to it? When I am at an alien club? It also has a little snippet at the end, but that adds very little to it. ALL MY LOVE - Basic little love ballad. So sterotypically Coldplay-y its hard to take seriously. It does remind me of GS a bit and True Love, though, and does feel at least a little heartfelt, so its not so bad. However, its not special and HAS LALALA'S which are the bane of my existence after listening to MM a few times ONE WORLD- At the beginning I thought it was playing Hymn for the Weekend because of the birds. Its just fine. Coloratura-esque in terms of being the last song, but not as good. The "it's just love" part is VERY cheesy, but thats the best part of the song, and the harmonies there are really cool. As for the "hidden track"... it's just lalala's. I have to say, though, that of all the lalala's it's the best. Honestly my favorite part disc 1 despite having no lyrics and it is a lot like Cry Cry Cry. Disc 2 Moon Music-Elodie- Just as pretty as Moon Music originally was, simple. Only thing that makes me like it less is missing Chris's vocals feelslikeimfallinginlive- Honestly makes me appriciate the song a billion times more. Having the crowd interaction with the clapping is great for live shows. The song still isnt great or even that good, but in this context it works with the clapping mechanism, and it overall is better live. The Karate Kid- DANG. Best song of the album hands down. An actually good new Coldplay ballad?!!? Its good, and not just by the lowered standards we have for Moon Music and MOTS. Its the gift to the Coldplayers. WE PRAY- Be Our Guest- Its just a slightly different version of WE PRAY.... Angelsong- A little alien lullaby. It reminds me a bit of Daddy. Not my father, the song. I like having the long version of a snippet, but I do find it a little boring. Jupiter-Single Version- Just Jupiter without the ending part Man in the Moon- It's so MX! Despite being so love-y new Coldplay-y its pretty good, especially for being one of THOSE songs. i Am A Mountain- More listenable than the original iAAM, and I like it better EXCEPT it has a lot less energy, which I thought was cool in the original. For some reason this one was like going to make me cry. It's a lot more emotional. All My Love-Live in Dublin- Much little better live in my opinion, again it has more emotion to it. When played live you can actually get some soul into a basic and pretty boring ballad. I feel like a lot of the Moon Music songs have a canny feel, so live sounds better. In this version it is even clearer to me that "whether it rains, it remains" is awkwardly similar to True Loves "if you don't then lie, oh lie to me". šŸ‘‹(A Wave)- We've been talking about this one for a while. Its a much better end song than ONE WORLD. Its a much better song in general. One of the best on the album. The perfect ending actually. Its wonderful. A Wave is great. Overall Disc 2 saves the whole album I was actually depressed over Moon Music being so bad, then this came out and I'm so glad it did but perplexed by the move to release all their good songs 2 days later. They could have just replaced the horrible ones in Disc 1 with the good ones from Disc 2!!! Anyway, those are my thoughts.
  5. Shiver vs. Ghost Story
  6. That is so weirdly accurate. It does sound a lot like "old Coldplay"
  7. The Goldrush vs. Flags
  8. Arabesque vs. Don't Look Back in Anger (Oasis)
  9. We All Fall in Love Sometimes by Elton John, covered by Coldplay
  10. Imma have to say Gravity (Coldplay), I feel like the slower pace fits the song better just a little bit. Also, the slight lyric changes in the Embrace version don't make as much sense to me, it throws me off. But they are both great, it's a hard choice. So: Gravity (Coldplay) vs. X&Y
  11. Crests of Waves vs. Gravity
  12. The Spheres. Kaotica, Calypso, Ultra, Coloratura, Supersolis, Epiphane, Kubik, Infinity Station, Floris, Echo, and Neon Moons I and II, each representing a song on MOTS
  13. Us Against the World vs. Champion of the World
  14. Don't Panic vs. Such a Rush
  15. I have to pull out the big guns for don't panic Don't Panic vs. Yellow
  16. Strawberry Swing vs. Don't Panic
  17. Reading the future inside a glass of water Glass of Water was like my first favorite coldplay song
  18. "Open up your eeeeeeyyyyyyyyyyeeeeeeees" -Politik Also I agree, the end of Now My Feet Won't Touch the Ground is probably my favorite part of Prospekts March
  19. Both are great but... Moving to Mars vs. The Goldrush
  20. Edwardian refers to the reign of king Edward VII, who was a king(duh). In the Viva la Vida Anton Corbijn version Chris is dressed as a king Word: Clandestine
  21. Janitrix means a female janitor, in the True Love music video there is a woman and a janitor in big balloon suits Word: Anachronism
