6. Yes, to VLV No, to U&U For the record, I like both, but don't think U&U fits.
7. yeah, beyonce is pretty big in the US for sure. Grammy's are strange. I thought they were the biggest musical award you could win. But I keep hearing more and more how they're bias and how its not a good judge of music, etc.
8. Exclusive – Coldplaying Interview with Pilar Zeta on A Head Full of Dreams Last month, we announced the World Exclusive on Pilar Zeta’s A Head Full of Dreams artwork. Today, we’re happy to share our exclusive interview with the incredible and young talented artist, Pilar Zeta. Big thanks to Fraser, the owner of agallery.co.uk, who always supports us and allows to share this awesome interview with us! Q: How are you liking being Coldplay’s Album Artist for Head Full of Dreams? A: It’s such an honor for me to be part of this incredible album. I am truly blessed to have been able to work so closely with them and deliver artwork that communicates their music. I’m very happy with the results. Q: What did you have to do to make the album art a reality? A: It’s been an entire year of working together back and forth. There were so many ideas in the table, but the final artwork came as a product of pure intuition. As I was part of the process when they were recording on the studio, was easy to understand what they wanted to communicate. I think that was a key of the entire work. Getting to know them was very important to understand it. After we decided the final artwork, then the hardest part came after; design the packaging and deliver all the final files to production. We did several test in color and papers. I almost travel to Germany to the press to make sure the colors were correct. It was very intense, I wanted to make sure it looked just like the design. We had a very tight deadline and we had to work with pressure but at the end it was all worth it, in every detail. Q: Is it possible to communicate how it felt when you first held the album in your hands? A: I had previous samples sent to me, but I didn’t get the final artwork till the date it was released. The record label was sending me a package but I couldn’t wait! So I went to buy my own copy of CD and vinyl. I was so excited and happy, it was amazing! Every single detail you see on the album design was designed by me and there were so many steps to get it done that it wasn’t till I saw the final copy, that I was happy. It was such a relief it looked great! I couldn’t be more excited. Everybody loved it, and that was very rewarding. Q: What did you enjoy most about making the art? A: I enjoyed working together as a team. I learned that doing collaborations can take you out of your comfort zone and explore areas of your creativity that you were not aware of and that is an amazing feeling. Q: Is there anything you’d like to say to the fans at Coldplaying.com? A: I just wanna say that everything is possible. This job was like a dream come true to me. I always dreamed to do artwork for very talented artists and it’s all happening because I devoted myself to my passion and I do it with all my love. Thank you so much to Fraser from agallery.co.uk and also Pilar Zeta who gave wonderful answers! Stay tuned for more questions and answers from Pilar which were left out of this interview. http://www.coldplaying.com/exclusive-coldplaying-interview-with-pilar-zeta-on-a-head-full-of-dreams/
9. I'm not gonna get into Beyonce vs Noel. I'm just a matter of taste. When I said support, I meant more like public, vocal support. I just remember a lot of celebs saying in interviews that they thought very highly of LP4. Made a lot of ppl pay more attention to the band. The grammy's didn't hurt either I guess, lol
10. Agreed. Poor example on my part. Warning Sign is a bit too lovely dovey for this show anyways.
11. iunno, Noel's name doesnt quite have the weight it should in the US...
12. They're basing it off what society tells them to say. I would wager a majority havent even really heard a Coldplay song in their lives. Just like how I haven't heard a song by Justin Bieber so i'm not gonna say his music sucks. I see what you mean. But it's just that in my eyes, these guys deserve the hate the least.
13. haa, well, they played it during the MX tour already, so that's enough for me, even though it's one of my favs. If they're gonna be playing some old fan favs, i'd like to see them bring out something from the laid back Parachutes album, like Sparks or something for the b-stage, acoustic set.
14. lol, nice line. Iunno if the female fanbase quite agree tho.
15. But as a fanbase, we gotta be realistic. They aren't playing this song for existing fans. They're playing it to gain new fans. As an existing fan, i'm okay with the realities of it, but I hope the rest of us are too when they don't play Warning Sign for Hymn for the Weekend.
16. No, they need to make it good. The JT/Janet Jackson show was memorable. I don't want that.
17. I'd say Viva, 'cause that's when they had more vocal and public backing from other big name stars.
18. Coldplay were already labeled as 'uncool' back before this oldplay/newplay business; back when I was first a fan back in LP2, so don't even play that card.... But my gripe isn't so much with the ppl who hate them. That's their lost, not mine. My issue is when ppl attack the ppl in the band 'cause I really do think they are one of the nicest ppl in music and they don't deserve to get shat on just 'cause you don't like their music.
19. Not the best quality, but... Mobile Link: https://twitter.com/coldplay/status/685501515205881856
20. I believe no matter your opinion on Coldplay's recent output, a Coldplay show will always be the hottest ticket in town.
21. Most likely a medley with all those songs in a short amount of time.
