  1. So which one don't you like out of Parachutes, AROBTTH or X & Y...you choose....
  2. I'll keep it short...I'll go for Rush of Blood since every song on that album is awesum!! I have never skipped one to date whereas Parachutes I find boring except for the singles and X&Y I only like the singles as well. Actually I have never gone thru the whole Parachutes Cd...and have never heard Life is for Living   But then again...I could change all that and go listen to it now..

  10. I agree, I don't like Embrace's version at all it has no emotion and his voice doesn't make Gravity as powerful and meaningful as Coldplay does.
  11. Um i'll use the s... S - Stereophonics

  20. Yeh he betta do a good job of it :P I was researching news about the video and found out from Wikipedia that: 'The music video for "Talk" is is helmed by director/photographer Anton Corbijn. Filming will take place in London during the first week of November. Corbijn has hinted that the clip will be shot in black and white, with a distinct B-movie feel to it.' hmmm? And I also happened to find this article from "uk.launch.yahoo.com" 'Corbijn shoots Coldplay (Thursday October 27, 2005 02:46 PM) Coldplay's next video is to be shot by famed director Anton Corbijn, the group have confirmed. Anton Corbijn will film the promo clip for the forthcoming "Talk" single, which is to be the third track to be lifted from their globe-straddling album "X&Y". Corbijn is one of the world's most famous video producers and photographers, having shot acclaimed promos for the likes of Joy Division, U2, Depeche Mode, Nirvana and The Killers. Corbijn has confirmed the band asked him to shoot the clip for "Talk", having previously rejected a number of previous offers from Chris Martin and co. He commented: "I have turned down a few previous requests from Coldplay to do a script for their songs, but I liked this song and had an idea straightaway, so that was enough for me to go on. "It is always the idea and the song that counts, not the size of the band. I just as happily work with Joseph Arthur, for instance, as with a big band. The only redeeming factor in that sense is that I know the video from the big band will get MTV airplay." Talking about the new video, Corbijn said: "Well, it is black and white, and slightly strange, as is often the way in my videos, I guess. It will have a certain B-movie feel to it, but I cannot say more than this for now. "I always come up with the ideas - except for Nirvana's video - but usually there is some input from the artist. Generally, people come to me for the whole trip, if you like. Whether that is good or bad, I cannot say, but that is what happens.' Hope this helps guys.
  21. ha I always thought it was 'shouldn't I pull off my' head aswell :P until i looked up the lyrics... o well nice interpretation! I would have never thought of that!
  22. Never heard of the song sorry. U2 - Beautiful Day...wait just changed to Gorillaz - Feel Good Inc.
  23. I was just thinking of this idea bout 15mins ago and I found the topic!! :P My list is: 1. Yellow 2. Speed of Sound 3. God Put A Smile Upon Your Face 4. I Ran Away 5. Amsterdam 6. Fix You 7. Only Superstition/Crest of Waves/1.36 8. Clocks 9. The Scientist 10. In My Place
  24. Well I remember the first time I heard Coldplay was when I was watching the music videos on tv and The Scientist came up and I thought the clip was interesting because of how he walked but wasn't really sure of who Coldplay was then. During that time I also heard God Put A Smile Upon Your Face on the radio and I absolutely loved the song!! So I decided to look up their album at shops and stuff like that but didn't buy it...until I heard Speed of Sound and LOVED that song as well. Then I ended up buying all their albums and became obsessed of everything they've sung, because they are AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!
