I forgot about your sarcasm, Mark. These days I get kinda desperate when I see that my mum won't give me any support about what I want to do with my life and my future. She rather makes things tougher than they already are to me.

It's quite difficult to be friends with someone who wants more than a friendship simply because you probably don't feel comfortable anymore when you're with him. It did happen to me and I tried to do my best to keep our friendship, but things got totally out of hand :( And yes, for some unknown reason [most] guys don't seem to get the message when you tell them in a polite way that you only want to be friends. Either they don't get it or they don't want to.

Yesterday night I went out and so will I today. yay! Since I'm here that I've lost the notion of time. For some reason everything goes faster. I wish I could keep on living this way for a long time. I don't want to come back.

oh, come on, don't say that! Of course I'll be back to Barcelona but here I'm truly happy whereas I wasn't there. And my future is a complete enigma... so far.

I didn't like it whatsoever. I was sick and tired of it and I wanted to change my life even though I didn't how to do it. I was scared of my move (leaving for Scotland). I wasn't sure if it would turn out well (or not), if I'd be able to adapt myself to a new country, language, new environment.... But I am actually doing it. And I don't want to come back because I'm living what I have always wanted to go through.

Hi guys! Just wanted to keep you updated. So I am already there and everything's going well, even the weather is pretty warm, which is kinda surprising! I am in a shared flat, we're 6 girls in total and they all seem to be really nice. In the end I didn't have to wait so much time at the airport because the flight got delayed 1hour. Freshers' week is amazing! It makes it so easy to get to know new people. By the way, Ive got a problem with my plugs. The sockets they have do not connect with my plugs and I should buy and adaptor. Hi there! I know I haven't been here in a while and I wanted to keep you updated on what I'm doing these days. First off, today is the packing day. I'll bring with me a couple of suitcases. Have you got any recommendation on what I should bring with me? I have made a list (clothes) - jumpers, long and short sleeved t-shirts, jeans, shorts, socks, panties, gloves/scarf, rainjacket, dress, shoes, pyjamas, umbrella... Did I forget something important? There have been some changes in my flight. At first I thought it would depart on Saturday at a "normal time" if you know what I mean, but yesterday I checked my booking (because I booked the flight online) and I happened to find out the flight company have changed the day and the time the plane is leaving! So I'll leave on Sunday at 3am, which is completely crazy! And I won't even arrive to Aberdeen, since the flight isn't direct, but to Edinburgh about 5am. And afterwards I'll have to take the train to Aberdeen but the earliest train I could take departs at 9am. So I'll have to wait and wait... :dozey:
