Radiohead
haha no they don't and i don't think they will ever do it again. though we never know what the future will bring. some songs have chances to be played again: Creep maybe and i hope Blow Out, about the rest i'm pessimistic The Bends is like "the improved version" of Pablo, but i find it sounds different...though songs like Sulk, My Iron Lung or Bones are more "Pablo level songs" = weak. i think The Bends is the border between Radiohead's "On Friday" + Pablo Honey era and the rest of their carrier (Ok Computer - now). on "The Bends" some songs are like contrasts of each other

Radiohead
no, they changed since Pablo Honey and they don't play stuff like that anymore. Pablo is really different from the rest of their releases. i think they just grew up, found what they want to sound like. they simply dislike Pablo, and 99% of fans think Pablo is the worst RH album, that 1% who pick Pablo as the best RH work are filler fans lol.

well...i would say Creep is classic and actually it was the onliest song which "saved" Pablo Honey. thanks to Creep Radiohead became famous in the US very quickly, some radio stations named Pablo Honey as "the best album of the year". it was strange actually, in the UK Pablo wasn't really popular but it was a hit at the other side of Pacific :/ hmmm. however, Creep is classic, but the fans and Radiohead (especially Thom) dislike it. Blow Out sounds more like a "The Bends song", really different from the rest of Pablo. wait, i'll upload it for you ;) edit: http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?action=download&ufid=156B94FD4B3C1C0F

Blow Out is far my favourite on PH i don't even listen to the rest lol, Creep is a good song but a bit overplayed and very overrated by non-Radiohead fans. i'm sure it will be available in the UK, but have no idea about the rest though you can check this site http://observer.guardian.co.uk/omm

Who is your favourite player in the world cup?
Brazil shouldn't play with 2 similar style players like Ronaldo and Adriano. for me it's obvious that Adriano is much better at the moment, Parreira should drop Ronnie from the starting 11. i'd put a midfielder instead of Ronaldo (let's say: Juninho Pernambucano or Cicinho) and make an attacking triangle: Ronaldinho - Adriano - Kaka, with a strong midfield line behind them: Emerson - Juninho (Cicinho) - Ze Roberto. in theory it should be more effective than today's team...imo

Thom Yorke Meets Henry Rollins Yes, the small scruffy chap from Radiohead will be with teaming up with the tattooed rocker for an episode of The Henry Rollins Show. Thom Yorke will be appearing on the show to chat with the former Black Flag singer and to promote his new solo album, The Eraser. Hopefully Rollins will resist the urge to steal his lunch money. This meeting of the minds will be broadcast on IFC on July 15th. The Eraser will be released on July 11th. http://www.filter-mag.com/news/interior.3272.html P.S it seems everyone will be able to d/load the show after the broadcast http://henryrollins.ifc.com/?referer=http://www.ifc.com%2Fhenry- Radiohead
there will be an interview with Thom in "The Observer" The Observer announced an interview with Thom Yorke. In an ad from today's paper The Observer claims to have an exclusive interview with Thom to be published in their Observer Music Monthly next week. Also, Uncut magazine has reprinted a 1997 pre-OK Computer release interview with Melody Maker. It's the one that notouriously had Thom get in his car and leave just as the interview was about to start. Choice quote: "'It's ok' says a hideously embarassed looking Ed, once its clear Thom will not be joining us. 'Thom trusts us to explain everything'" @ease- No more "Crouch robot"...
Crouch halts robotic celebrations Peter Crouch says his robotic dancing career is over - and will only be revived if England win the World Cup. Liverpool striker Crouch has become a cult figure among England fans because of his eccentric goal celebration, but now he feels it is time to get serious. He explained: "It's not about robotic dancing. It is about scoring goals and winning matches. It's an important time for everyone now. "It's serious business, though we might all do it if we win the World Cup." He added: "If you can enjoy yourself, all well and good, but the first thing we must concentrate on is winning football matches. "The lads are keen for me to keep it going, but I'm not sure about that. I hope to get as many goals as I can, but I'm not sure about that celebration." Crouch is certain Michael Owen, his strike partner in Saturday's 1-0 win against Paraguay, will soon be indulging in goal celebrations of his own, despite being substituted early in the second half. He said: "Over the years Michael has been playing, he has always scored goals and I believe he will always score goals. "He is a goalscorer and a finisher and when he is given chances he will score. "Michael is one of our main threats, so there is no problem with him." Meanwhile, Crouch admits he may have to adapt his game to avoid falling foul of World Cup referees. He was booked against Paraguay after being penalised several times by referee Marco Rodriguez for aerial challenges. Crouch said: "It was very frustrating. I was getting pulled up for things that wouldn't be a foul in the Premiership. "It was a worry to pick up a booking, but I'm not going to change my game, although I may have to adapt it a bit." He added: "I felt the referee was overly-fussy at times, but I'm not going to blame referees. This is international football and maybe I have to adapt my game a touch." The Liverpool star, meanwhile, will be happy to welcome Wayne Rooney back into the England side, even though it could put his place under threat. Rooney could see some action in England's next group game against Trinidad and Tobago in Nuremberg on Thursday. He said: "It's important we have him back. The fact that the manager named him in the squad showed he was always confident he would be fit, and in training he is looking fit. "He's a top player and we need everyone fit if we are going to do well in the World Cup." http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/world_cup_2006/teams/england/5072314.stm :bigcry:- The Muse Thread - Hate This & I'll Hate You
i'd be really glad to share opinions about Radiohead's albums, any of them ;) people, who would argue are missing, unfortunately...in the last time. of course there are some exceptions but quite few i'd say. i'd like to say a big thanks who went into discussions here in this thread, especially Ren ;) well it's quite off topic, but let me add something...Radiohead are a band which never ripped off stuff IMO. they could choose another way after The Bends and make another super popular brit-pop album like The Bends was. but they rejected to do it and changed their music direction. i can't describe the brilliance of OKC, because it's amazing. this album gave a new breath to the british bands and let's be honest, the whole new "rock generation" is existing in a big part thanks to those 2 albums. after OKC they already were kinds of legends and they could make "another OKC" with some similar sounds and rip-offs from their own style, but they didn't do that, because they knew it's impossible to make another OKC. well...and Kid A is just not from earth for sure, but created by 5 men who are people actually...however Kid A is the best work as ALBUM. to be honest i needed several litenings to Kid A to realize that this album is an album actually. Kid A takes you to somewhere else. you are not here in this world, you are somewhere else but you can't describe where. man, those Oxford guys had to be really high in that time, but who cares?... and i have to say thanks to you Ren for contributing here with great points ;) and hey, i'm not a Muse hater as it was said here and in several threads many many times. even if i dislike their music i wouldn't say i hate them. i hate Crazy Frog so i don;t waste my time to care with that shit. but Muse are a band who makes music. and even if i have a different opinion about them and can't find all those things in their songs which you all can, it doesn't mean at all i hate them. i have my opinion about them as i have an opinion about every band that i had a chance to hear so far. they are an average band, that's all. but as i said before i will listen to their next albums as well, because maybe they will be decent...who knows. i just didn't like BH&R. el fin- The Muse Thread - Hate This & I'll Hate You
