who said that? if it's only a theory then it's very poor. how come you think that Radiohead fans listen only to Radiohead and think RH are the onliest decent band worldwide. there are hell a lot of Muse lovers at RH msgboards even more than you could imagine. you can find at RH msgboards: many Beatles, Flamings Lips, Sigur Ros, REM, Pink Floyd and even some unpopular at those places Oasis, Muse and Coldplay fans. if you could read my post at the last page you would easily find an answer to your question. there's nothing wrong when someone's being influenced by someone, but a band can't bring the same stuff everytime and just release an album which will be highly appreciated by shit like "NME" or some "fashion fans". but it's only an opinion from a Radiohead fan

fair enough, but there's no point to react to your statement. i've already said what i think about it. you just repeated what everyone said/thought before and collected to one big post. but still good post, i appreciate that some fans are going into discussions. anyway i have some notes: 1. of course it's not a Radiohead forum, how come you mention it? i was refering that there's nothing bad if a band, in this case Muse, get critics. so all those overreactions would be useless. it's "the world of music" which was dead, if will be very honest for a very long time. and i find it very sad when at the first page we find only some games, what are you listening to and bands threads. so i think some exciting threads with some discussions inside can save TWOM. 2. Muse definitely ARE Radiohead babies, but of course not the onliest. Coldplay, Travis, Keane and all those bands who were influenced by RH's work are "RH babies" as well. you can agree or disagree, but it is a fact. same with Radiohead they were being influenced by REM, Pixies, Pink Floyd, Talking Heads...but they could find their own music style. that is what i don't hear in Muse's music, they sound like a mix of other artists. i can't hear what their real sound is, i always hear other artists. opinion. that's why i was saying they are a "growing up" band and i think there's nothing bad with this statement. they are being influenced like everyone else, another question if they'll find their real sound or not. if yes, their music will live forever and we'll hear Muse influenced bands in the future. automatically Muse will be legends, but atm they're very far from it. so that's why i don't stand all those biased Muse comments about how legendary Muse are. but if not, in 10-20 years, no one will remember who Muse are and maybe the band will split. 3. Showbiz is an OK Computer remake, but seriously...i can't even see any arguments in this point. though i agree that the stuff which came later is indifferent from OKC but still, in some points i hear "wannabe Radiohead, Queen" and not Muse well, i think we still can keep our discussion without crossing any borders and it's good ;)

we've seen 6 goals. but if we'll be honest...2 of them were scored after great shots by Lahm and Frings. the rest 4 came after terrible defending...a small number of combinations, a lot of mistakes...Klinsi should find something or i'd better say somebody, because the defending is far the weakest point in the Nationalelf

i'm 2nd who agrees about good U2 releases. their latest albums were disappointing, and i don't expect any good releases from them in the future

it was an awful game actually. Costa Rica disappointed me...i expected much more from them - 2 shots on goal/ 2 goals...well that says a lot about German defending. Germans scored 4 times, but they played without any creativity. their team isn't ready for "the bigger matches" yet.
