oh man, what a bullshit. they just have life (work, family, kids, university etc.) and don't have time to come here <<< that sounds more realistic
  4. don't think that Gravity would be on x&y, Chris wrote and gave this song to Embrace, so that b-side was a cover actually. Proof? :/ it's not that good to be on the album. if they would work on it more before release, then maybe. personally i think Things I Don't Understand would perfectly fit to x&y, great song. i would replace THP with TIDU. EDIT: and HYSTW A Message replace ^_^
  5. happy birthday Jason! thanks for making that gmail account, it really helped me sometimes! ;)
  6. i believe someone requested Glasto 2003 audio some weeks/months ago here: http://www.megaupload.com/de/?d=CGQDVA65
  7. he's the onliest rapper worth to listen to...others are just bullshitting all the time *bump* i didn't listen to his songs for 1 year i think... but death of Proof reminded me of him, so now i'm listening to Like Toy Soldiers (one of good songs on Encore, the second one is Mosh)
  8. nobody mentioned the "Like Toy Soldiers" video? Proof dies there as well (year: 2004)... spookily prophetic R.I.P Proof
  9. i think the 9-11 changed them a lot
  10. agreed. he was terrible at Wireless Festival during Try Again, but the song lets me forget it. Try Again is maybe their best song ever. that song has some personal meaning for me
  11. wow! i really like them, very nice artwork  Amsterdam's cover is kickass!!! thanks for sharing them
  12. that's a great song! you can listen to his songs here (Windows Media and Real Player streams) : http://www.sonymusic.com/artists/BillyJoel/frameset_discography.html
  13. hey! read the title of the thread properly! it's not Billie Joe Armstrong and his Green Day or Billy Joe or whoever!!! BILLY JOEL
  14. lyrically. and maybe not only. i mean their opening song on Parachutes says: "we live in a beautiful world yeah we do, yeah we do we live in a beautiful world" the title is Don't Panic and the song was named Beatiful World originally but if we take the last song from X&Y (no, it's not TKC because it's hidden and it's tribute to Johnny Cash, so doesn't fit to the album at all) which is Twisted Logic, we see the totally opposite side: "Hundreds of years in the future there could be computers looking for life on earth " "If somebody made it Someone will mess it up" so does it mean their lyrics and views on today's world changed completely during the years?
  15. lol yes, New York State Of Mind is amazing. it compares and describes NYC beatifully!!! Some folks like to get away Take a holiday from the neighborhood Hop a flight to Miami Beach Or to Hollywood But I'm talking a Greyhound On the Hudson River Line I'm in a New York state of mind I've seen all the movie stars In their fancy cars and their limousines Been high in the Rockies under the evergreens But I know what I'm needing And I don't want to waste more time I'm in a New York state of mind It was so easy living day by day Out of touch with the rhythm and blues But now I need a little give and take The New York Times, The Daily News It comes down to reality And it's fine with me 'cause I've let it slide Don't care if it's Chinatown or on Riverside I don't have any reasons I've left them all behind I'm in a New York state of mind It was so easy living day by day Out of touch with the rhythm and blues But now I need a little give and take The New York Times, The Daily News It comes down to reality And it's fine with me 'cause I've let it slide Don't care if it's Chinatown or on Riverside I don't have any reasons I've left them all behind I'm in a New York state of mind I'm just taking a Greyhound on the Hudson River Line 'Cause I'm in a New York state of mind <3
  16. he's a living legend! any fans? favourite song, album?
  17. Noel Gallagher: Radiohead more important than Oasis This quote from Britain's Maxim magazine was a bit of a surprise. Turns out Noel Gallagher thinks Radiohead are now more important than Oasis. The Oasis guitarist has conceded the albums released by Radiohead have surpassed anything his group have released. Noel also believes Coldplay could yet match the achievements of him and brother Liam. Noel Gallagher said: "I think I could have said, without any argument, till the year 2000 Oasis were the most important British band since The Beatles. But I think Radiohead have been important and I think Coldplay may yet turn out to be important but not so much now." The acclaimed songwriter, and self-confessed Beatles obsessive, insists the best band since the Fab Four are legendary punk group the Sex Pistols. He added to Britain’s Maxim magazine: "The most important band since The Beatles, really, was the Sex Pistols. Oasis are the most important band since the Pistols!" source: http://www.oa515.com/
  18. i found Liam Gallagher in your words  that sucks
  19. one of my favourite songs on Amnesiac _______________________________ I want you to know He's not coming back Look into my eyes I'm not coming back So knives out Catch the mouse Don't look down, shove it In your mouth If you'd been a dog They would have drowned you at birth Look into my eyes It's the only way you'll know I'm tellin' the truth So knives out Cook him up Squash his head, put him in the pot I want you to know He's not comin' back He's bloated and frozen Still there's no point in lettin' it go to waste So knives out Catch the mouse Squash his head, put him in the pot
  20. i will try to fix you  don't worry, hun  IT'S ALL YELLOOOOOOOOOOW!!! :cheesy:
  21. i might be wrong, Crystalius. :nice: but those rolling stones (they look more like stone eyes) don't roll at all on my monitor, they're just faking some movements and you're just playing with some useless words
