well, i used to check the charts too, but after some huge "let downs", i just don't do it anymore. and let me quote one of the great lyricists of all time (RIP) "the game looks easy that's why it sells" that pretty much sums up my opinion about music charts in the 21st century ;)

forgive me my ignorance and arrogance charts are unnecesarry and useless imo. of course, i do understand that musicians do care about them because of financial reasons first of all, but i can't see how we, music fans should pay attention, charts are propaganda ;) i didn't say they can't write good songs themselves, but it's just not my cup of tea. lyrically, musically etc. boy bands have their own image, and i don't like it ;) and yes, i pretty much generalised

LOL! i don't understand why you moan now when the charts have been fucked up for ages. the boy bands and "musicians" like B. Spears or J. Blunt have occupied the charts ages ago... so why moan now after years that the charts have been "dead"? that's pretty stupid

why should i care what pitchfork say about the love album. it's good imo, maybe an unnecessary album, but still quite well mixed me? you said: "they are the best of boy bands" :rolleyes: you need to define, i guess
