Sigur Rós
Sigur Ros to Perform Split Sides Soundtrack As you very well already know, Sigur Rós released their Sæglópur EP/DVD in North America earlier this month via Worker's Institute. Disc one, aka the audio portion of the package, features a track from Takk and music expanding on the material found on the band's Untitled and Ba Ba Ti Ki Di Do EPs. But Sigur Rós aren't quite done with Ba Ba Ti Ki Di Do-- originally composed and recorded for a project from acclaimed choreographer Merce Cunningham in 2003. The Icelandic quartet will make its way to Miami on February 25 of next year to once again provide the score for Cunningham's dance company's performance of Split Sides, this time as a part of the Carnival Center for the Performing Arts' citywide festival, Merce in Miami. The fest is scheduled to run through February and March 2007. Sigur Rós will play at the city's Ziff Ballet Opera House. Ba Ba Ti Ki Di Do (this name refers to the only spoken words in the piece) will run twenty minutes and mark Sigur Rós' only 2007 U.S. slot with the Merce Cunningham Dance Company. The latter half of the forty-minute dance's score was composed by a little band called Radiohead, who, sadly, won't be performing in Miami. Merce in Miami will also feature eyeSpace, a piece commissioned by the Carnival Center for the event, and Cunningham's first-ever Miami collaboration with Daniel Arsham and composer David Behrman, as well as performances of Merce's Ocean, CRWDSPCR, Crises, and more. http://www.pitchforkmedia.com/

The greatest song in the history of the world. Maybe
at least 4-5 songs from Grace should be on this list...

The greatest song in the history of the world. Maybe
sorry but for me classic rock is so damn boring...Stairway To Heaven does nothing to me back to that list: whoever made this list has taken the most popular artists and their most popular songs...pretty lame if you ask me i'm not even talking about listed covers as "Hallelujah" and "Hurt"...at least they should have mentioned Leonard Cohen and Nine Inch Nails, because after all it's their songs and not Buckley's and Cash's although, i agree that both of these covers are better than the original ones, but still... a fucking mention...

have no idea....but it's gonna be the end of this or the beginning of the next year, me thinks before LP7, i guess- Radiohead
they recorded their Bonnaroo performance (2,5 hours, 27 or 28 songs :o), so i'm almost sure there's gonna be a DVD...soon :) and that one will contain at least 6-7 new songs- Radiohead
that Arpeggi was played with orchestra at Ether Festival (classical music festival), so it was predictable it will change a lot. though that Ether version is lovely  Arpeggi will change in the studio a bit (they will add some strings) for sure. and yeah Videotape is amazing...though that version which was in the archive is far the best...tbh Videotape has been ruined a bit since it's 1st performance :( though, i still love it SBD recording will arrive soon (hopefully), but the problem is: it was a festival, what means Radiohead mostly played their "greatest hits". only 2 new songs were performed then (no 15 Step, nor Arpeggi or Videotape :( ). so i'm afraid we have to wait till 2007 to get the really good quality recordings of the "LP7 songs" and of course we haven't heard the rest of the new songs (though it's not 100% we're gonna hear them this or next year) like "Burn The Witch", "A Reckoner" (full band) or "Pig's Ear"...- Interpol
silence before the storm...- Radiohead
today's Amsterdam gig will be the final show of the tour! :bigcry: almost 4 months long i was awaiting every Radiohead gig as a little child a candy and now it's over. every time i was online during their shows and was following the setlist in it's order if someone at a gig was texting the songs and now: no candies left...only one...maybe the best one, the most delicious one...- F.C.Barcelona
he really is more worth than 6 M Euro...he was a key player bye bye, MvB!- Radiohead
Radiohead adore Amsterdam a.k.a. Dead Air Space has been updated for the 2nd time in 24 hours- Gwyneth to direct next Coldplay video
another source: Hollywood actress GWYNETH PALTROW is branching out into the music business, and will direct her husband CHRIS MARTIN in his band COLDPLAY's next video. The 33-year-old SLIDING DOORS star is now actively seeking work behind the camera, as it is an easy way for the pair to be together. An insider says, "Gwyneth has said she's keen to direct pop videos said Chris has agreed to let her direct one for Coldplay. "She loves the band and their music, and it's a way for her and Chris to be together while he's working." http://www.contactmusic.com/news.nsf/article/gwyneth%20to%20direct%20chris_1006442 well.....what an awful idea- Sigur Rós
