i do love the kooks. Listened to them ages ago but when they became really big I lost a bit of interest. But! shuffled right to them on my ipod the other morning and I'm back into the album! :0) It's just such a great album. Puts Arctic fuckin monkeys to shame!

why have you heard any news of this TV broadcast that everyone else hasn't? I'd be quite happy with that but there's been no mention of it since we first found out about it.

i totally appreciate that in the past they have done these really nice little things for the fans which a lot of other bands wouldn't take the time to do. It just seems that within this past year they're becoming increasingly detached from the fans. Personally I just feel like the small indie band I once knew is moving farther and farther away and it's the record company doing the majority of the moving. it's a shame they seem to have become victims of their own success :0(

yeah totally, an explanation or something would have been good. Not just to say "yeah, it's due for release end of October"........"actually, no we've changed our minds. We're not releasing it at all"......!!!! And I don't know about anyone else but I fooking HATE this whole surprise thing! I feel like we're all scrounging about trying to find info while the powers that be sit in their offices counting their money and laughing at us. :\ If (by some miracle) the surprise does turn out to be the DVD I'll be pissed off [but of course, happy as well :laugh3: ] that they've kept us going like this. I feel like I'm being treated like a bloody 5 year old waiting for Christmas! :veryangry:

Muse did that I think for the new album. now that would def restore my faith in CP. even if i didn't get to go! but you may need to put on a few pairs of socks cos hell will freeze when that happens! lol

If it is that I'll be quite annoyed actually emi need to consider the fans a bit more carefully. Afterall, we're the one's who will be buying the CDs tickets merch etc and ultimately putting the cash in their pockets! They have seriously affected fan morale...

Yeah I think that's what it was meant to be. If it's getting a fair build up you'd expect it to be something big like the DVD but I doubt it. Maybe just that they're going to show the footage on TV with maybe a documentary or something like that. Which I'd be quite happy with to be honest! hehe
