  1. How can you just choose one Great Rock band of all time. I mean that is impossible in my opinion. There were so many that did so much for music. But if I had a gun to my head and had to choose one it would be Zeppelin!!!! RAMBLE ON!!!!!!!!
  2. Yeah, I don't listen to the radio much. Can't get much out here in Central NY. Not a very cultural area. I have't heard of that station.
  3. Ofcourse the Doors. I'm not a big Hendrix fan. I will say he is one of the greatest guitarist of all time. You know I was listening to the music stations and they are playing the doors on Solid Gold Oldies channel now.
  4. I just wanted to see if I could get a thread going about my real passion. Classic Rock. I want to hear opinions about Zeppelin, Beatles, The Who, Pink Floyd Ect. You know the GREATS!!
  5. I actually started crying when he showed me pictures of the Oasis Show. How pathetic I know.
  6. Your husband is my God!!!!!!! I have to meet him!!!!!!! Never heard of someone like him!!!!!! I wanna hear your story!!!!!! Let me give you alittle back ground. My husband and a group of his 10 closest friends have been going to Oasis shows for years. Ever since they were 16 and that was over 10 years ago. Just to give you and idea. So one night one of his buddies calls to tell him that Oasis is coming to MSG and they have to get tickets. From the time I met my husband we have been planning to go as soon as they went on tour again. So I assumed when he so excitedly told me about the concert that meant we were going togeather, or I'd tag along with the guys or whatever. Well as time went by I heard less and less about the show from him and eventually I had to ask what was going on with tickets. At that point he informed me that his friends had gotten them and there were only enough for him and his friends. I was absolutely heartbroken. I gave him so much shit for it until the very day of the concert. I didn't speak to him the week before he went and I wouldn't pick up his phone calls while he was there. I know it sounds harsh but I was crushed. They were also playing in Boston but we couldn't afford both shows then. So to make it up to me, the week after we got married he got us floor seats to see Coldplay at Madsion Square Garden togeather. Which was a really wonderful show and we had an amazing time, but he still owes me!!!!!
  7. I have to say I wasn't exactly head over heals until this new album. My husband left in the car and I just continued to turn it up until it was full blast. I have it in my headphones at work. That's where I do most of my real deep down listening.
  8. Hell Yeah!!
  9. I love Oasis too. My husband is a huge fan. He's been to 20+ concerts. He actually meet Noel. He went to an after party in Montreal after a concert. He was there with 2 girls on both arms. We actually almost didn't get married over an Oasis concert. Funny story. Wanna hear it?
  10. The other one that I can't stop listening to is Scissor Sisters.... Take your mama out all night. You guys heard it???
  11. I actually didn't know who CatPower was, but I'm actually gonna check them out.
  12. It's wasn't intentional. My husband fell off his chair and basically pushed me into him.
  13. Did you catch the part that says.... I'm married. Sorry I'm already spoken for.
  14. No there's nothing wrong with being 17, but honestly I would never go back. I would like to stay 25 forever though. It's the perfect age. I'm still beautiful and energetic.
  15. My name is Chelan. Well my first day on here I got yelled at my a 15 year old tell me not to double post.... I wasn't happy about that. Then I started a post that said " I feel like I'm getting old" because ever person that even responded was like 17 and under. Then I had to defend myself to all the teenie boppers. Oh Well.
  16. Yeah well it pisses me off. I mean I start posts too, I mean like real ones... and no one responds but they do to this one. I just feel cheated.... :embarrased:
  17. Okay I was just complaining about how there were no "older" people on this forum. And the 30 year old posts the most immature thing.... Figures!
  18. cvanno replied to twin4life's topic in Lounge Games
    Bloc party Noel or Liam
  19. I don't feel old. It just feels odd to me to be discussing this stuff with people (is that better) that are 10 years younger then me and still in highschool. I'm open minded. Maybe I'll learn something. I think it's great that Coldplay can reach such a large span of people. In all different Countries, of all different ages. That's part of what makes them great!
  20. My husband sent me this small articale. Thought you all might me interested. Coldplay are moving into new phase Next album could sound like ABBA or they might just wear frocks Coldplay have announced that current album 'X&Y' marks the end of the first phase of their career. The band explained that they have already been working on new material while on tour, and plan to move away from their current sound. Chris Martin told Xfm: "We're always working on new material. We've got no laurels to rest on. We're still looking for our laurels in my opinion. We've everything to prove and we've finished phase one of Coldplay and now we're going to enter phase two, which could be the Abba phase it could be the transvestite phase, who knows, but it'll definitely be good." Martin added that the new songs they've already written are more stripped down the material on their first three albums. "It's not a reaction against anything as much as an evolvement," he explained. "But the new record's going to blow your socks off. Or tights, depending on what you're wearing."
  21. Oh Sailor Fiona Apple Have you guys heard the new album that actually got released. It's definetaly growing on me. Kinda like X & Y.
  22. You're 10 years younger then me. That makes me feel worse!!! But I'm glad there are 15 year olds out there like you!!! It makes me a little more at ease with the world and the direction music overall has taken.
  23. Well just wondering. I mean there is a big difference music wise between a 17 year old and a 25 year old. But then again, I was pretty invested in music at that age so what am I saying?
  24. I'm not trying to offend anyone. Should I say "teenagers" instead. I'll give you that atleast!
