Liquidsky please don't take what I said with offence, it was just a general opinion, not aimed at you or anything personal to your views. It's fine if people don't want to follow her. All I meant was people shouldn't be made to feel bad or be labelled as creepy if they do, as they really aren't doing anything wrong. The point of Twitter is to follow things or people you are interested in. I like her photos and think her restaurant recommendations and places she goes to are imteresting, plus yes I like the photos from gigs and the touring. Doesn't make me want to find her and outside her house or anything! People who follow her are being open about it and therefore not being stalkerish or creepy. Each to their own is what I guess I'm getting at - nothing personal to you, I promise! :)

She's usually good at sorting out rumors from facts. She did for Will's neck brace thing.

Is this actually real? If so, that's awful!! But it sounds a bit weird to me so I'm going with it being a stupid rumor until a more reliable source confirms it. I didn't think he had a house in Maidstone?! :confused: Any better sources for this? Anyone asked the Oracle?

Merry Christmas fellow Jonny-lovers! Hope everyone had a great holiday! :) Thanks for the photo-spams! :D I agree with Analoeskah - most of Chloe's tweets are about general stuff and cool restaurants in London or places she goes to anyway. There are fewer family ones than regular ones - it's just the family ones end up on here! I follow her twitter through twitpic when she posts a photo and I like them. I really like her photos. Some posts might seem vague or boring but that's kind of the whole point of twitter really - they are just one-line comments about what you are doing at that moment. I quite like that they are just normal everyday things rather than only posting about band stuff. That would be more weird. The family ones are really cute (the xmas ones are very sweet!) but I don't think they're too personal. Since lots of people started following her she stopped posting Jonny or Violet's face so they are never fully shown. Ages ago she took down the only one that you could see Violet's face. She also never mentions their names in tweets or Coldplay by name so they don't come up in searches and if you don't know Jonny well you'd never actually know she was a Coldplay wife! I don't think it's creepy to follow her - no creepier than following anyone else. To be honest it's less creepy to ask to follow her and be open about it than to follow her without her knowing. Sometimes I think people get paranoid about 'stalking' - if you are openly following her then it's not stalking. She can always block a user or not accept someone if she feels uncomfortable about it or they start hassling her. Anyway, keep the Jonny picture spams coming! Where ever he is I hope he's working on his suntan for us! :P

I think it's Chloe! At least the girl in the huddle's wearing the same top she's wearing in another blog photo. Plus check out the wedding ring - it's massive! :P I think vicki was wearing a Santa hat in the other photos. She's wicked :D Great photos of smiley Jonny. he seems so happy! So wish I'd been there, it sounded amazing. Nice he answered people's questions too. He makes me laugh :P I'm sad that's the last gig for ages... Bring on February!!

You have to go to their Justgiving charity page and click where it says '1 photo' (under the small version). Then a bigger version pops up. He looks so happy :) They raised a really great amount for a homeless charity so he's kind as well as lovely!! :D

Clearly too busy reporting about Amy Winehouse's 'leaking' implants! :P I often wonder why I bother to look at NME anymore. It's gotten so bad...

I agree that it's kind of pointless to debate this as it's never going to reach an agreed conclusion and I'm not sure it's actually helping anything. It sounds like most people have a pretty good idea what is an acceptable level of interest in the boy's lives and what is not so as Sparkle says, let people use their common sense. If anything really inappropriate comes up then that's what the moderators are here for. Having a go at each other directly about what people post just creates hostility and makes it unpleasant. Lets leave it up to the moderators to moderate! If you really feel strongly about not wanting to know about their personal lives then stay away from threads you know are likely to contain that kind of info e.g. the Gwyneth thread, threads dedicated to each band member. There are plenty of purely music related threads for people who are genuinely only interested in music/live music related info. Maybe this thread would be better moved to the section that deals with the running of the board, rather than here? It seems to fit in better with that category.

It basically means it wasn't true... which was pretty obvious anyway! If they had any real evidence to back it up they would have refused to take it down. If you saw two celebrities making out in public without anyone caring if they were seen and you wanted to sell the story to the papers, surely you'd bother to take a photo? It's not like people don't have camera phones these days... it's total BS and Star know it. I's so dumb I don't know whether to laugh at it or be cross! :thinking:

This issue seems to crop up a lot and be quite divided in how people feel on this board so I guess it's good to discuss. I personally think this board and the people posting on it do a pretty good job of keeping reference to their personal lives to a reasonable and moderate level. It's the general consensus not to post addresses of their homes and, as far as I'm aware, no fan on this board has actually gone out and followed their families, hounded them for photos and then posted the pics on here! I think it's natural for fans to be interested in their personal lives and while the boys don't flaunt their personal lives, they do talk about it openly during interviews. Will often refers to his wife and how great his kids are and Jonny spoke not so long ago about touring with his fiancee and child and her dancing to his music. On her 1st birthday they wished her happy birthday on stage during a gig. Guy's ex-wife did an article about their home in an interiors magazine while they were married which he must have been okay with her doing, and he happily posed with her for press pictures during her shop opening a few years ago. They are clearly not against people knowing about their family, so as long as it's respectful then I don't see it being such a big deal. I'll probably get shouted at for this but I think it's easy to exaggerate the whole 'stop this horrible invasion of privacy' thing a teeny tiny bit... with the exception of Chris and Gwyneth (who are an exception mainly due to Gwyneth's job), none of the boys and their families are being 'harassed' by anyone - paps or fans. They have all said that they are able to go about their life with no problems at all. People on here posting the odd pic from the internet or wishing their child happy birthday isn't going to suddenly create a media frenzy or harassment campaign. On the whole everyone keeps references of their wives and kids to a respectful level. And we have lots of good moderators on this board who can remove anything obviously inappropriate. To try to enforce an outright ban on anything personal on here will mean editing every interview and article to get rid of any mention of their families - even if the boys say it themselves! If you don't do that, you can't criticize people for referring to their families. Given Gwyneth is mentioned in about every interview that could be a lot of editing! :P Plus I'd personally rather have the whole interview than have a censored version. I think that would undermine the quality of this site, which has always been one of the best places to come for interviews and Coldplay news. Everything in moderation - isn't that the most sensible approach? Be respectful in what you say about their families, don't post where they live, don't follow them around relentlessly snapping pictures of their children and post them here. Surely that's common sense? :confused:

When the minister says 'does anyone know of any reason why Jonny and Chloe shouldn't be wed' chris will leap up and say 'jonnnnnyyyyyyyy.... I love yooooouuuuuuu!' :-D

I think it's okay. The boys wished her happy first birthday at one of their shows and Roadie 42 mentioned it in his blog so I don't think it's meant to be a secret or anything. Does anyone have the YouTube clip where they said happy birthday last year?

I bet she wouldn't tell us... :( I bet Chris is best man. I'd like to hear his speech!
