So great that they did a charity gift collection. The boys are always so sweet and generous. I bet Violet will be a cute bridesmaidl! :heart: Maybe they are having a christmas wedding! I've always thought that would be cool. I guess they wanted to do it when they had a break from touring. Darn I'd love to be a fly on the wall at that wedding!!! :sneaky: :wink3:

Cute picture. Where is it from? Is it a Twitter one? It doesn't like like one of her usual ones. She doesn't usually show jonny or violet's full face. I saw jonny watching a gig in London once but was too wimpy to go and say anything. I regret it now as it was probably the only chance I'll have, but at the time it didn't seem right to disturb him. I felt weird interrupting. Idiot! :dozey:

I think, if you could read it all, it would say 'Alive', but I'm guessing. Guy's daughter is called Nico. I thought she looked pretty good for someone who's done a hard work out. But I don't really care about how she looks really. If Chris is happy then that's cool with me :)

Usually they do, if you hit it hard enough, but not always :) If it helps, I don't think it hurts when it comes off. It's just a bit gross! :P

Calm down everyone - he looks like he banged or squashed his finger tip and it's bruised. Nothing sinister! :P That happened to my friend after he shut his finger in a car door - usually the nail falls off after a while (sorry to gross everyone out!)

I agree with you completely - I was only joking about the 'hopefully' bit! They make a cute family with Violet so it would be great news if they did. I don't think it's strange for a fangirls to want that - we just want him to be happy! :) I hope Guy's happy with someone too... I'm just not going to say that out loud in the guy thread!!! :P

She didn't say it was her hen night - just 'a girly hen night'. Might be a friend (says hopefully!!! :rolleyes:) I guess they'll get married at some point now they're of tour but who knows. They don't seem in any rush

She said she watched Little Joy, which i think was the same band guy, will and Jonny went to when they were in Texas. Fab from the Strokes is in it and I think the boys are friends with them. Guy was hanging out at Albert Hammond Jr's house when they were on tour (oh the days when guy tweeted!)

It's a shame they can't just see it as the lovely tribute that it, is regardless of whether you like their style or not. It's not like they are trying to do it better than Michael Jackson - it's just a nice gesture to someone they admired. It's not a big deal so I don't see why people get their knickers in a twist about it :confused:

Simon Pegg came on for one song and played one short harmonica piece that lasted about 30 seconds during a song... Hardly a support or a real part of the show! If that bothered you so much then i don't want to offend you but it sounds like you're just grumbling about nothing. It was supposed to be a little bit of fun. Don't take life so seriously! As for some pauses - it's a life show with Chris leaping around everywhere, guitar changes etc. Of course there are going to a few pauses. I love the fact they do a little a set at the back of the stadium. Yes, it takes a few minutes to get there and back but it's a great thing to do for the people at the back who have restricted views. Quit grumbling and be glad you got to go!

There was one not too long ago in the Des Moines Register about his life touring, and there was a little article from a Welsh newspaper with a little interview with him mum :P and also one about his Canadian relatives when they were touring in western canada. They were all posted on here. Try using the search and they shouldn't be too hard to find. Those are the most recent ones I can recall that were specifically about Jonny... :)

Sometimes I think people forget what 'live' means... If you want guarenteed perfection then don't go to a live show... in real life, sh*t happens. Get over it people - 98% of the show was fine.

I know people who went (they live there) and by their account it wanted that big a deal. Sounds like a big exaggeration. Not everyone suffered a loss of sound - my friends didn't. Nor did lots of people who came on here to review the concert. I feel sorry for the boys. The PA failing isn't their fault and it's one show out of so many great performances. It must be upsetting to receive so much criticism for something that was out of their control... The UK press seem to love to write anything negative about them - even if it's got nothing to do with the UK...

I'm a bit confused about the backing track thing... People are saying they use backing tracks for most songs and that was the problem last night, but surely if the backing tracks were mucking up, the boys would know something had gone wrong as they would be out of time as they played along? Are people there sure it was backing tracks and not just the PA system breaking up? That way the boys probably wouldn't know as they would be playing as normal and only hear themselves through their ear pieces, so not be aware of what was going on. I wasn't there so I'm guessing... They must be so cross - that was such a big show for them :-(
