  1. Sod science or religion, its about a persons choice. Every situation is different so its really upto the mum - why should someone who doesnt understand her situation decide? Theres a good article in the book Freakonmics that shows how the crime rate went down when abortion was made legal in 70's america - less unwanted kids turning to crime. Then theres the class issue - poor families will have a higher burden on themselves, whereas the rich can afford better schools, healthcare etc.
  2. http://uk.news.yahoo.com/20112006/344/bruised-beauty-complains.html Miss Israel has been given permission not to carry her assault rifle during her military service in the Israeli army because she says it bruises her legs. Reigning beauty queen Yael Nezri, a private who recently completed basic training, says the bruises are making it difficult for her to model in photoshoots. The Jerusalem Post newspaper reported Ms Nezri, 18, had been granted an exemption by her commanders covering her two-year stint in the army. How is she btw?
  3. I live near Millwall. Its full of drunken chavs.
  4. £1,000?? should be lots more. Bullying at any time of your life can wreck it, esp if your kid. I like this idea.
  5. Its ironic that Nick wants everyone to carry around a lethal weapon but isnt for abortion. Abortion is nasty - i think we can all agree on that, but to force women to carry children will result in more broken homes, more unwanted kids in care and as such you can guarantee the crime rate will rise. To force people to do something is something i find appalling. People should always have a choice. And what if the child was disabled? Wouldnt it be cruel to make it suffer?
  6. I still dont see why its so bad. Why would it be bad? how would it affect us and the rest of the world?
  7. I'm doing a article on internet communites for my journalism course - something along the lines of how great they are and the benefits and how to use them to get what you want etc, etc. Ive asked you guys some questions and had some great answers off you, but now i have to talk to some experts and get their opinion on the subject. Sounds easy? Nope! I cant think what to ask them. So i need you guys to give me some ideas on what to ask. Thanks.

To prepare for the operation Felix practiced his surgery on anuses of the peasantry, with some fatalities at first but improving his technique in time for the royal bung. What else has happened this day?

  15. An dffernet version - from a proper news source. http://www.cnn.com/2006/US/11/16/student.stunned.ap/index.html LOS ANGELES, California (AP) -- A UCLA police officer shocked a student with a stun gun at a campus library after he refused repeated requests to show student identification and wouldn't leave, police said. The student, Mostafa Tabatabainejad, was shocked Tuesday at about 11 p.m. as police did a routine check of student IDs at the University of California, Los Angeles Powell Library computer lab. "This is a long-standing library policy to ensure the safety of students during the late-night hours," said UCLA Police Department spokeswoman Nancy Greenstein. She said police tried to escort Tabatabainejad, 23, out of the library after he refused to provide identification. Tabatabainejad instead encouraged others at the library to join his resistance, and when a crowd began to gather, police used the stun gun on him, Greenstein said. Tabatabainejad was arrested for resisting and obstructing a police officer and later released on his own recognizance. He declined to comment Wednesday night. The incident was recorded on another student's camera phone and showed Tabatabainejad screaming while on the floor of the computer lab. It was the third incident in a month in which police behavior in the city was criticized after amateur video surfaced. The other two involved the Los Angeles Police Department. Acting Chancellor Norman Abrams promised an investigation. "The safety of our campus community is of paramount importance to me," Abrams said in a statement.
  16. Why are so many people voting for the Uk? Are they blind?
  17. You said that British troops are "ordered to dominate, brutalize and enslave the population"
  18. I'm not the one claiming British troops have been "ordered to dominate, brutalize and enslave the population" Why dont you go and fuck off?
  19. Yea its wrong, but then so's sensational articles like this that do nothing but point fingers and give people wrong ideas about whats really going on. Theres over 250,000 allied troops in Iraq - and yet your suprised to find some bad people in there. What you've just wrote is an insult to the thousands of British troops who are in Iraq to help people not beat them up. And why blame videogames as well?
