i've had the video downloaded for a few days now...its pretty good...the interview is very informal and chris and will talk the whole time...i wish jonny and guy would say stuff occasionally.

i know what you mean...its crazy. conan, then ACL, then KROQ concert, then Leno, then 4 shows at earls court...it doesn't end...they need that time off at the end of december and begginning of january before the tour starts. btw...i have no idea about 60 min...i dont know why they are following them around...i dont think anyone does b/c i'm not sure if you know this but 60 min is a very adult oriented news program that fans of coldplay def do not watch....its so boring. Well, we'd watch it if *they* are going to be on it... :lol: of course :) i hope i hear something about it b/c i dont generally care about what is one 60 min...but i'll look into it and post if i hear anything.

EMI is really trying to get everythng possible out of X&Y, it is rare for their to be advertisements for an album that came out six months ago...and if anything they should be doing more in the US b/c of the tour that starts soon.

oh that is the muppet show...i was wondering about that. that is going to be something to see...but the chance that they show it in NYC is going to be zero. :cry:

most of them are repeates...the only new ones are the CD:UK and Jool Holland performance they are doing "A Message" on CD:UK, but i'm not sure if its live or not

thats true...X&Y was publicised very little in the US compared to people like Kanye and Mariah. the grammys always favor American bands, its always been that way unfortunently...and the categories this year dont make any sense...coldplay belongs in the alternative category

oh so you had tix originally and where waiting in line b/c you wanted to get a good GA spot...got ya :) the simulcast was in the auditorium...thats nice that they did that for the sponsors and the fans who couldn't get it to see the actual show.

so you just waited outside and they gave you VIP passes? very cool. i wonder why 60 minutes was there...thats a news program that rarely covers entertainment type news...and i doubt that most coldplay fans watch it :lol:

sorry to disappoint you, but it wasn't the fault of german reporters that this rumour was spread. contactmusic.com were the first to publish the news and as far as I know, they're english speaking. sorry, but what you're saying makes me kinda angry, to be honest. they got the quote from a german newspaper b/c will said while doing an interview with them...dont get angry...its an honest mistake and i'm not saying only germans mistranslate things

the main vid file is huge and takes about an hour to download...it is the end of the show when they were performing Talk. its good but it is only a video of a big screen and there is a bit of a lag with the sound...its still worth downloading though.

i live just outside NYC but i've never heard them sticking around after a show or appearance in the city to sign autographs and take pics...this is rare, so congrats to whoever was at the taping and saw them. then again, this was filmed on a college campus and was kind of a special event. btw...isnt University of Texas at Austin the biggest university in America?
