^^oh yeah. don't get me wrong, the items are great, but Mince should never run for more than $280-$300 USD, and the mags can be gotten for a little as $5-$10 USD each. NO official release runs for over $9000 USD...least generally.
  2. you and me... on the same page. seems like the releases are never ending, which is a bitch for all the collectors. next it'll be the super-duper-limited-after-tour-before-DVD-X&Y-South West Europe edition, including a remix of white shadows as the only new material. And we suckers'll buy it.
  3. Gimmie a f%#king break.... http://cgi.ebay.com/Collectors-Coldplay-Mince-Spies-CD-4-Fanzine-Magazines_W0QQitemZ300014223448QQihZ020QQcategoryZ91499QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem This has got to be a joke. Some reckless attempt at luring a severely mentally handicapped and wealthy eBayer to believe one copy of Mince Spies, along with the four issues of Coldplayground, could be sold for about three times the going rate of the SafetyEP. I don't know if it's courage or lunacy to ask for that pricing. definite stupidity to pay the listing fee.
  4. Nedver seen that. Even EIL's a blank. I'll shoot you a link if I do find one though. GEMM's the best source for that, from what I've found in the past.
  5. yeah, the dutch sp edition was a nice release. but far better to pick our pockets with brand spankin new sp editions inclusive of the videos. nice packaging on all of them though.

Hehy Nitehawk, that's a great listing, but there are a few sites out there offering all that, plus photos. totally discouraged my idea of putting together a site of all that info, because there are so many great ones out there. pricing is the only thing missing from nearly all of them. (general rates as opposed to general value). If this helps w/your list at all, use it for what it's worth. Not inclusive of everything that's been released, and sorely needs to be updated, but it's all i've got, so can research any q's etc... http://rapidshare.de/files/26456190/CP_Workbook.xls
  7. :) don't forget about the Japanese release too! Looks just like the release of the X&Y record. comes w/an OBI. the Taiwan and Singapore releases have nicer art than the Japanese, B&W slipcase. one w and one w/o and OBI. The Aussie Tour release is the nicest lookng though...i think anyway.
  8. never saw the East Asian. there are several South Asian. You recommend any shops for the east asian?
  9. 66 replied to owenrees_73's topic in Coldplay
i'll upload it sunday when i'm off, but it should pop up no problem on amazon. that's where i bought it from. otw, check netsoundsmusic. there were three shops selling it there,

Mine saiys "Made in Holland"; EU serial of 00946 366951 29 Track 1 - What If (Tom Lord Alge Mix) Track 2 - HYSTW (life from Earl's)

dunno any about the remix, but anyone looking for the single can purchase it from amazon, or rock house records, along with several other shops listing through sites like musicstack or netsoundsmusic. all are currently in stock and shipping.

From what I can tell, it was another Holland release, but i can't verify until my copy arrives in post. It's being sold through amazon, and a few other shops that can be found on the marketplace sites. Same b-side, but a physical release.
  13. hey, the best places to search are the marketplace sites like musicstack, gemm or netsoundsmusic. I got a Mince Spies copy off of an Austrian shop for $55 USD and a Brazilian Yellow promo for $3 USD. OTW, if there's a specific region release you're looking for, let me know. i go throuh loads of vendors all over the globe and can send you a list of the one's i've had most luck with and that usually have fair pricing.
  14. I've been collecting for a long time now, and am fortunate to have loads of stuff. Last count showed approximately 285 items (official publically and promotionally released CD's, vinyl, DVD and VHS included - no memorabelia). I've obtained a few since last update, but nothing exceptional. I'd list out, but it's telling me there are too many characters. I attached a download for a workbook. Have items listed w/title, serial, format, extended notes, known (or approximateled) values and the general "going rate" for each item. Not the most comprehensive I've seen, but if anyone finds it helpful, use it at your will. http://rapidshare.de/files/26456190/CP_Workbook.xls
  15. try GEMM. there's generally one or two up on there. if you don't see one today, try next week.
  16. see you soon - about being under the microscope and the separation from family and friends. sleeping sun - no clue
  17. Yeah, the "X&Y Tour Edition" was released in Australia and "South Asia." The material is the same, but the sleeve artwork is different between the two. Also, the "South Asian" editions were released both with and without an OBI. Whether it's packaged with one will depend upon the country of purchase (Singapore - No OBI) (Taiwan - OBI). It was also released in Japan; I'm assuming it's the same as the Taiwan issue, but will know better once my promo copy arrives in the post.
  18. ^^ not so much cuz they're the same songs over and over, just different shows, you know? i see what some of the people here have, and it blows me away. really great stuff.
  19. 1834...but that's counting live...bet i'm beat big by some of the people here tho.
  20. I'm not sure what problem you're encountering, but I'm also not sure about that particular seller (is it RECSIM)? That price is waaaaay too high; there's another seller that always has silver CD's listed, and commonly lists that one; she charges closer to $35USD. I'm trying to figure out her 'name' for you. If GEMM's giving you issues placing an order, try http://www.netsoundsmusic; the same seller had it listed there too.... tho really, don't pay that amount unless it's some sort of extreme emergency gift. You will find it for a lower price if you show a little patience and really check through marketplace sites on a daily basis. You also try perusing ebay france, ebay italy and ebay germany. More likely to find it there than on ebay.com or ebay.uk or by utilizing the "international" option. Just make sure you ask the seller if s/he will ship to your country. Good luck
  21. ^^keep trying back; it's up all the time. I'll try to get the seller name and contact info for you. OTW... ref. boots... The distribution rights in other countries may vary; there are sites out there dedicated to live silver CD's; right out in the open, etc... Many of these companies utilize marketplace sites. right or wrong, it's not a hidden trade. I know in some areas, purchasing rights to certain material is dirt cheap, especially compared to the US and UK. To each his own w/boots, but if I can get a professional burn in professional packaging, it's worth the purchase. Some old r.e.m. boots I've had since the early '80's sell for outragious prices, due to the quality of the entire package (vinyl and CD), and it's brilliant to have gigs from throughout their career which aren't displaced on numerous sharpie-labeled CD-R's displayed in my ghetto packaging. Digital media is phenominal, but I'll take the real thing any day.
  22. Go to GEMM.com, there's a seller in ...i believe Italy... that ofte'tn has one posted up (silver CD, not a burn). Charges about $33-$35USD for it. Can't recall the name of the seller, but just conduct an advanced search, and it should pop up.

as it probly states in the link above, it was released on the blue room ep, but can also be found on the promos known as the "sparks ep" and the "acoustic ep."
  24. I also heard Chris was dissatisfied with HYSTW #1, and specifically rewrote it for the Warchild compilation. Thought part II sounded great live, but do regret that being the only "new" material...least wouldv'e been brilliant to hear "proof" or "gravity" in a few sets, though it'd obviously not be the first time for either.
