  1. sounds to me like someone with too much time on their hands to contemplate what others can do with their time. Instead of wasting so much energy to bitch, the writer could have save his energy + a small bit of energy by turining off his/her computer, and simply enjoying the bands that did perform, versus not crying to the world about the bands that didn't perform.
  2. no^ like a general LTD release, a limited number was pressed, then shipped to retailers. once sold out, the item's gone, no re-presses. Most retailers are sold out, but they can still be found on eBay in sealed condition.
  3. "Twist of Fate" is a Bob Dylan song that was covered during a show; you should be able ot locate it here; if not PM me, I'll send it to you. Not sure if you're meaning Mining on the Moon or Man on the moon, which Chris sang live with R.E.M., and can probably also be found here, or I can PM it to you. No clue on the last.

probly the same time as the arobtth record; b-sides are usually record cut-outs
  5. ^^ with the 8.75% chicago tax, i generally find it cheaper to order on-line...s%h included.

I haven't a spare, but keep your head up! :) They often come up in carious shops or an eBay. I recommend checking sites like GEMM or musicstack.com. The AROBTTH book's pretty nice, and you wont be disappointed.
  7. same here. i ordered two, and the sigs vary a bit between the two, making it obvious they're not preprinted. awesome item for $40!!!
  8. Thanks a lot for posting this; much much much appreciated. So...are the autographs real? or preprinted?
  9. ^^ not so much considering ALL the merchandise thats been available to every country EXCEPT for Canada, the US and Australia...esp considering if you email the shop and ask for those items NOT available in those three countries, they'll tell you can't sell/ship, no matter. So we got lousy cups, I'd rather have a fair price on the mood clock, pencil set, gig posters, iPod charger, etc.... that were avaibale in the UK/Rest of the World shop.
  10. ^^ yeah, it was for sales through the north american shop. you had an option of receiving a free mug w/a pre-sale
  11. The Australian Tour Editioon is the 2-CD set, the rest are CD/DVD sets. ...If I remember correctly,. the CD/DVD sets also include the B-side audio from the Aussie edition, along with the videos.
  12. thx for writing about this, i had no idea it was out there!
  13. Hey PJ, I PM'ed you...you knew I would, didn't you? ;) You're a crazy man!
  14. the In My Place 12" is, by far, the rarer of the two. But both can be found pretty regularly for a fair price. SOS is still the cheaper, and found available on hundreds of sites. In My Place comes and goes. I grabbed two copies a few years ago for about $15 USD each; I saw a few on GEMM recently for about $20 USD each, so it hasn't really risin in demand, but is scarcer than SOS. Think left-legged pineapple still has one or two for about 10GBP.
  15. i did with no trouble
  16. definitely send them notice. i've had shit luck with product received from the official store. haven't received my boxset ordered directly from the CP shop yet, as they're not set to be released in the US for another few, but previously, I've had merchandise come damaged and/or packaged right shoddy.
  17. $ $1400 USD for a "signed box" with no COA? forget it.
  18. 66 replied to lauraloo82's topic in Coldplay
yeah, avalanche records had a presale on ebay. they're reliable. dunno how much more i paid in post costs tho.
  19. 66 replied to lauraloo82's topic in Coldplay
I'm int he US and got my 2 today; ordered from the UK though. Both are still wrapped, but look very nicely packaged.
  20. I'd like them to make ALL merchandise available in ALL the stores, or simplify it ALL by combining the stores into ONE
  21. ^^ saw one go for over $3000 USD. Guess it's a leap you take if oyu have the financial stability to do so. With only 500 pressed, it's so rare, just to own one is lucky.
  22. im a sucker. had two on pre-order anyhow, but got sucked into pre-ordering another through the site...just in case :)
  23. here's my lastest list. if anyone's interested, dupilcates are available, but for trade only. http://rapidshare.de/files/37680032/Coldplay_Book__MAIN_.xls
  24. keep in mind, the variations between the bulk of the South East Asian editions are minimal, if variable at all. The Japanese will have the OBI, and the Taiwan (& poss the Chinese) a slight packaging difference on the sleeve. Malaysia may include a holographic style sticker. I haven't come across ALL the the remaining, but most SEA collections have even the same UPC, and no packaging differences. If attempting a completist collection of them all, make sure you verify UPC and packaging issues, or you'll wind up duplicating for no reason. ...ala the "Sparks EP"... The Latin American editions should primarily reflect the country of release in the small print &/or packaging sticker.
