  1. ^definately agrees about everything ;) I didn't see the comment about the gig was here too so I answered in the thread patoronto opened, and actually now that I think about it, you're right Danielle, Bono don't even talk that much...he should talk more with his loving irish accent :laugh3: :laugh3:
  2. lol there's a motto here saying: good wine is in the small barrel :nice:
  3. It's funny how the same things can be seen from different points of view :) Last year I've been to two Coldplay and two U2 concerts...but hell, no Coldplay gig by now could beat U2's...they're totally different (also because U2 played in a stadium and recorded the DVD at my two shows, while Coldplay played in smaller venues). Anyway coming to on of your points...it seems you don't like when the singers talk too much during a show...all I can say, especially when speaking about U2, is that all Bono's talking is a part of the band expression too, he's not talking about something which doesn't deal with the show, it's a part of it, because many of their songs are about the same things too: poverty, love, belief. I love when Bono talks, first cause I can see how much I can understand of what he says, and second because I think that most of the audience share his same thoughts. About the fact that they didn't play some of their most important songs...well it's rather obvious they can't play all their songs, it was the Vertigo tour, so most were coming from HTDAAB, otherwise they should have done a 10-hours long concert. They played "I still haven't found" at the shows I've been to, but they didn't play other songs (like "The unforgettable fire", and we wanted "An cat dubh/Into the heart" and "40", but they only played them while touring in America). Coldplay do the same: this year, for example, they played Shiver (which is one of their most important songs) only twice, and considering their shows don't even last too much, they could play all their hits if they want to. And well Chris did talk a bit during the concerts, and he shows the MTF mark on his hand and piano, but everything is kinda "invisible", while the "COEXIST" thing for U2 is far more embodied in all of their music. They're completely different from this point of view God I just can't understand why you're thinking this way  I went completely nuts at those shows, two of the best days of my life (plus other 2 for Coldplay) IMO bad for you, I can't wait to see DVD from my U2 concerts :nice: and see both bands live again without comparing their performances but just enjoying the show P.S. Johnny's guitar riff in Fix You is Edge-sound 100% :)
  4. Where is it written it can only be installed on one pc? I guess there are only iTunes and the Ipod software in that CD (I already had iTunes installed in my laptop and then the software and the drivers for the iPod autoinstalled as soon as I connected it). So i don't think you should have any problem to install it in any other pc :) oh and just to make you sure about it, in the iPod guide it's written "Put the iPod CD in your computer and install the iTunes and iPod software. If you already have iTunes and iPod software on your computer, it's best to install the latest software from the CD included with iPod or from the web at www.apple.com/ipod"
  5. It should be the tour book :)

  7. My same thought :dozey: anyway, thanks beckhamcrosses for the song
