  1. Can anyone help me out with a high angle wide photo of Chris positioned on one of of the runways during the Viva tour. Maybe during In My Place. I've looked through much of the live gallery and can't seem to find one. Thanks in advance.
  2. I have the banner if you would like to PM me with your email.
  3. I've collected many interviews / performances / and profile pieces on Coldplay over the years and that was absolutely the best piece I have ever watched. It's amazing after reading, listening and watching so much Coldplay over the last 16 months, I felt I learned a great deal about each of the members. Brilliant!! Thanks to all of those who helped with the link.
  4. Chris and Gwyneth on video together...a rare look.
  5. I was lucky enough to be one of the Coldplaying.com fans that were picked for VIP tickets for Coldplay's appearance on the Today show last year just as the tour was taking off. It was the first time I had seen Coldplay live since my three year old daughter Ryan had passed away expectantly. She was a big fan of Coldplay. The first song she ever sang to her self wasn't a nursery rhyme but was Fix You. She was my Coldplay buddy, never growing tired of how much I played their music or watched their videos. I had promised her that the next time they toured I would take her to see them. Needless to say, all I could think about was that promise as I watched them play. The last song Coldplay performed that morning was 42. Up to that point, I had held it together, but when Chris sang "those who are dead are not dead they're just living in my head" , well nothing for me could be more true. I took that as a sign, a sign that she was there with me...probably with the best view of anyone.
  6. I'm driving down from DC for the Raleigh show and know that when the show ends, I'm going to want to go see them the next night in Charlotte. Does anyone know of some tickets for sale?
  7. Does anyone else think that the mark on Chris' arm is from when he burned it with the sparkler during the Hershey concert.
  8. Kylie Minogue
  9. I'm heading down from DC to see the show. This will be the 7th Viva La Vida show I've seen. Just can't get enough. Wish I could go to Europe at the end of the summer to see them there.

  11. According to an interview that Chris gave last week with the Winnipeg Sun it appears that they are taping the concert for posterity. EXCEPT: SUN: So instead of a live album, you'll be filming for a DVD in Vancouver? MARTIN: No, not for a DVD. Just for the annals of time. SUN: Just to sit and watch in your basement? MARTIN: When I'm old, maybe. I hope it's just one of his jokes.
  12. Thanks Barb...hope your doing well.
  13. Putting a call out to see if anyone might have a close up photo of Miller "Roadie 42". I've looked through the roadies thread but couldn't find a tight one. Thanks for the help. Julie
  14. At last weeks DC show, we were front row and held up a sign that read "Got 99 Problems but Coldplay ain't one - Hit Me!" Chris read it while singing Violet Hill and smiled and gave us a pretty hot tongue move. At the end of the show we held it up again as the guys were walking around and clapping at the crowd and each of them read it and laughed. I was a bit worried using a Jay-Z reference since Chris mentioned recently that they are having a bit of a spat over the London shows but in the end it felt great that they liked the sign.
  15. Drove down from DC to see the show. Amazing as always. Lucked out with great pit location and cool neighbors. The setlist was the same. Chris messed up "Postcards..." and said that Will was mad about his mess up and would take it up with him after the show. At the end of I'm a Believer...Chris asked each of the band members individually if they were "in love ?" Will and Guy answered with a "ohhhhhhh" with Jonny giving the lowest of "ohhhhhh's". Because VA Beach houses a major naval base, fighter jets were flying over every 10 minutes which Chris made reference to it by saying it was their "transport". During their lawn set, Chris had VA Beach do their version of the "mexican cell phone wave". For their last encore, the guys wore their Grammy jackets. Can't wait to get back home and see them tomorrow night in DC.

  19. In April 2006, I wanted to somehow say thank you to the band on their last night of the US leg of their X&Y Tour. With the help of fellow Coldplaying.com friends, we canvased the Philadelphia arena and passed out over 12,000 "USA LOVES COLDPLAY" signs. It was amazing after weeks of organizing and planning, to look out around the arena during the encore and see a sea of signs. At the end of the night, Chris said a special thank you for the "brilliant signs" and creatively ripped one apart, passed it out to the rest of the band reordering the words to say "Coldplay Loves USA". It was an amazing experience which I hoped made the guys feel appreciated. I will forever by thankful to my fellow coldplaying.com friends for all of their help. During the Viva tour, to honor my little girl, I have taken my daughters little red mini along to all of the shows. I had promised her back in 2006, that I would take her to see the boys the next time they toured but unfortunately she passed away far too young and before ever getting to see Coldplay live. The first song that she ever sang along with in her life was "Fix You" More photos of her car are at http://www.ryansminiadventure.com
