Hey Guys I just got back from Philly and have posted another video and a bunch of photos. I would really like to get a hold of a better picture or video of the guys holding the ripped up sign or anything sign related. Well I can't believe it's over. Several weeks ago I had an idea to try to do something special on the last night of the US leg of the CP tour...to say thank you and to show the guys how much their music means to their fans in the US. In the end I met some great people who showed great committment and determination to help my idea come to life. To the friends I have made I say a big thank you for your efforts...I think we accomplished what we set out to do. The night started off great our meeting in the parking lot was great...a chance to finally meet the people behind the forum ID's and countless emails. We had members from as far away as Florida and Ontario. Trying to figure out how we would get 12,000 signs in took a bit of figuring but again everyone stepped up and did what they had to do. As we approached the door as a group the trouble began. A very stern and assertive security guard with and intimidating russian accent shouted "you can not bring those in!!! After some smooth talking by Barbara (AiresLady) the guard agreed to ask for a decision from the top guy. After a few minutes and silent prayers they let us in!!! You can imagine the relief we felt once we got through the door. We had put to much time, effort and money into making those signs and we were not going to take no for an answer. Once in we finalized the plan and found our seats. The minute Ashcroft took his final bow we went to work. We each had our section assignments and by the time CP was about to begin I took once last looked out from the my seat on the floor and all I could see were people with our signs...all over the floor section and the bottom tier it was amazing. From that point the work was over and we could enjoy the show. The weeks of planning was over and it was now up to the crowd to do the rest. The signs instructed people to hold them up at the encore. When the guys finished their set and walked off, I took my eyes off of the stage and did a 360 degree pan of the venue and it was beautiful. Signs were everywhere....it worked!! Thousands of people proclaiming their love for the boys!! I felt just amazing and I felt thankful for the people who had helped to make this happen. Although not every sign made its way up in the air a good percentage were there. As the boys came back on stage I noticed a member of the crew on the stage videotaping the sight. Who knows maybe we will make the Coldplayer or even yet the Tour Documentary. It was apparent that the guys noticed the signs....there was no way they counldn't. As the final note of Fix You rang out, Chris thank the crowd for giving them the best job in the world and said "thank you for the brilliant flyers". As they made their way to the center of the stage to give their final bow in the US for several years, Chris took a sign and tore it up into individual words and gave it to Will, Guy and Johnny re-ordering the sign to say "Coldplay Loves USA" it was wonderful. Again thank you to those that helped...(Barb, Dan, Rob, David, Joe, Jenn, Pam, Kathy, Chris and Aaron) I hope our friendships will continue in the CP world. I would also be remise if I didn't thank DreamOutLoud who also had a sign campaign for the show on Chris' birthday in Washington DC. A group of us have been planning for weeks to show the band what we think of their music. Over 12,000 signs have been printed and are set to be passed out tonight with the works "USA Loves Coldplay". We want to send them off feeling amazing. The images are going to be overwhelming.

bdevil89 We are in desperate need of folks to pass signs out...if you are able to print them that would be amazing but we do have someone who has more than she can handle. Please email me at [email protected] and I will give you the details. It will only take a little bit of your time in between Ashcroft and CP. Just grab a stack and ask folks to pass them down the rows. We have 11 people signed up and over 11,500 signs printed. Our goal is to cover the floor and all of the 100 sections. We have about 80% scheduled to be covered but we really need help in the 105-110 sections. They are important because that is where Chris will be during "In My Place". Hey if you want to help but can't print out the signs....no worries. A fan in our group is bringing an entire box of signs....I think thats close to 4000 but needs help passing them out. We need folks to cover sections 105-110. We'll be passing them out between Ashcroft and CP so you won't miss a thing. Absolutely...please make your sign. The whole idea was to send the guys off with a feeling of love and respect as they start the road to recording their next album. I admire your determination to come to the states to see the guys. We are hoping to have a small get together after the show so I will keep you informed. Maybe you could stop by.

Sign Campaing Update: 9 Volunteers 9000 Signs scheduled to be printed and passed out. We need more help...please email me at [email protected]. With a 20,000 seat venue, there has to be a few people from this forum going.

So many views...can't believe no one wants to join the campaign. Be apart of something special. We are looking for people in Sections 105-112. Please email me at [email protected] if interested.

The momentum is building....we have 8 people who have volunteered to print and pass out signs to hold up at the last U.S. show in Philly but we need even more!!! The more we can get to help, the more amazing the guys will feel. This is the last Coldplay show for us in the U.S. for a very long time as they go off to create the best Coldplay album yet. Let's do all we can do to make it an unbelievable night for Chris, Johnny, Will and Guy!!! Please Please help us out. If we all printed out a pack of paper worth of signs can you imagine what that place would look like....incredible!!!!!!!! So far we have folks in Sec. 102, 115, 1, 7, and 8a. As you can see we have some holes and really need some help in the 100 sections. If anyone saw the pictures from the DC show where DreamOutLoud and her group passed out Happy Birthday signs for Chris it looked beautiful and Chris was visibly touched. I'll be there in section 2. This will be the fourth show for me this tour and I paid a little more to get good seats for the last show in the US. I'm not sure if you saw my post on the other forum about signs for Philly. DreamOutLoad's idea in DC was amazing and really made the night special for both Chris and the fans. She has given me her blessing to try it again in Philly. I'm planning to do the same sort of thing to say "Thank you" for the tour and tell them to "have fun recording". I would really be appreciative if those sitting in the floor sections would help me pass them out. It worked really well in DC. Amy, with help from a few other die hard CP fans, was able to pass the signs out after the opening act and before CP. Is there anyone interested in helping out?

I have been very unimpressed with MTV's support for X&Y. I have never seen Talk on the air and have only seen Fix You 1 time since it's release in August. Without Coldplayer and these forums, I would never see Coldplay videos!!! Thanks to all of those who take the time to post videos for us here in the States.
