  1. Two years ago Angie (Texasluvsjonny) was kind enough to take Ryan's MINI with her to Mexico to see Coldplay. During her trip, she was fortunate to meet Guy, Will, Jonny and Chris and have them take photos with Ryan's MINI. I can't put in to words how much that meant to me as I had always hoped to take my daughter Ryan to a Coldplay show when she got older. Tonight, with Angie buy my side, I was lucky enough to meet Chris myself and tell him how much their music meant to Ryan and I and that their music had helped to create many memories. 'Coldplay' was the forth or fifth word Ryan learned to speak. I shared with Chris that while they were playing Paradise and I looked out at all of the beautiful blinking colored lights, I thought to myself, if there was a heaven and Ryan is there, I hope it looked like that. Chris was very giving of his time tonight and I had fun talking to him about the setlist and whether I would ever get to hear Shiver, Amsterdam or Low, but the highlight of course was talking to him about Ryan. What a perfect night. Thank you for being there Angie!!! My niece was there as well....I'm so glad to have shared this with her.
  2. Hoping to hear Trouble tonight but playing for shiver.
  3. This is great...I'm seeing them tomorrow and Monday night. I hope Trouble stays in the setlist. If only Shiver would have the same good fortune...13 CP shows down and no Shiver :(
  4. Can't wait for the shows on the 8th and 9th. Hope to meet lots of new coldplayers.
  5. Hey Angie...glad to hear your coming to DC. I hope we can meet up before one of the shows. Please keep in touch.
  6. So glad they cut a live footage video of this song as it's one of the best Coldplay songs I've every heard live. I was lucky enough to hear it twice in one night at the Jimmy Kimmel Show concert. Their songs just rise to a completely higher level live. Just Amazing.
  7. I wondered if you would be there this morning Angie. Have an amazing time. Being there in 2008 was by far one of my most favorite Coldplay and all around concert experiences of my life.

  9. What an incredible show and well worth the whirlwind trip from DC to LA. It was so great making new friends and sharing the experience with fellow CPers Jason, Dianne, Tracey, Kelly, and Imelda. What a wonderful group of fans. HIGHLIGHTS - Getting a chance to see and hear the guys after a two year wait - Venue...intimate, under the stars on a beautiful night - Sound was amazingly crisp, vivid, energetic and loud!!!!! - The new material sounded incredible and infectious so much so we needed double doses of Every Teardrop and Charlie Brown - Spending the day with Jason, what a fun and great person and true Coldplay fan - Getting a moment to talk with Vickie and Miller and showing them photos of themselves with Ryan's MINI - Jason and I sharing a drink with some virgin Coldplay concert goers and educating them on the all things Coldplay - Being smothered under three feet of streamers and confetti - Not having to wait months after getting tickets...thank you Jason!!! - Being just feet from four incredibly handsome and talented Brits - The new material and the classics...nothing beats GPSAYF and Politik live and loud LOWLIGHTS - Having Lost, Violet Hill and Shiver dropped due to the Kimmel Show ( I've been waiting since 2005 to hear Shiver live :( - The crowd The UCLA show was one to remember and I feel so fortunate to have been able to go and share the VIP experience with Jason. Thank you Jason!!! I hope as the LP5 tour takes off that I'll have many more opportunities to meet more fans from the board and share the sights and sounds of the best band in the world!!!
  10. Here you go... http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/showthread.php?t=50400&highlight=roadie
  11. I'll be flying in around 10am Wed and will probably go over to UCLA as soon as I can check in to the hotel. Can't wait to meet everyone.
  12. Chris, Jonny, Guy and Will are now heading for LA!!! Can't wait till Wednesday!!!1
  13. Is anyone watching in the US on an iPhone? I can't seem to find a working stream.
  14. I really hope the freebies are anywhere but section 18 since I'm coming a long way to see the show. But then again just hearing the new songs live and meeting fellow Coldplayers will make it worth it!!
  15. I really think the guys should do a signature series of their newly styled guitars. They are absolutely amazing and unique looking particularly Jonny's Every Teardrop... guitar, Guy's Charlie Brown bass and anyone of Chris' Gibson acoustics.
  16. Oh No!!! They dropped Shiver from the Fuji Rock Festival setlist. I just have to hear Shiver once in my life live!!!! Please bring it back in LA.
  17. Hats off to the person that created this gem. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qIuxiwhUGz4]‪Coldplay - Viva La Vida (in LEGO)‬‏ - YouTube[/ame]
  18. I actually wrote to SSK a few days ago with this question since I will be traveling quite a distance and it is a benefit concert. Here is their response, "We cannot speak to the duration of the show but expect it to be amazing."
  19. After years of going to see Coldplay and hoping and dreaming... it's finally starting to sink in that in less than a week I might just finally get to hear Shiver live!!!!! And to top it off, I might just get to hear Moving to Mars!!!!!
  20. Anyone have the link to the youtube video of Chris dancing in the crowd at a Depeche Mode concert? Can't seem to find it.
  21. I tried to win twice because I thought some friends would be able to come but they can't. I had hoped to give away my other free tickets to some fans at the gate. I don't feel right taking money for something that is free especially when it's a benefit concert.
  22. FYI - When I won my tickets, I submitted my name again and won a second pair. Incase anyone else had the same luck, here is a response I just received from SSK regarding winning twice and the time free tickets will be available. "Each ticket allows you plus a guest to attend. We will be checking ID against the names on the ticket. You will only be able to claim one of the pairs. We hope to begin distributing tickets with seat locations shortly after 6:30p."
  23. Well I bit the bullet and bought a ticket to LA. Just can't miss the opportunity to see the guys in a smaller venue. This hopefully will hold me over till the official tour starts, but you can never get enough Coldplay. I would love to meet some of my fellow Coldplayers. Anyone know what time we can start picking up the free tickets?
