[2015-12-03] BBC Radio 1 Special Show at St John’s Hackney Church, London
Really nice meeting some of you on Thursday - was so stoked to be able to help Alizée get in after she travelled all the way from Southern France without a ticket. Thanks for letting us enter where she'd been queuing and not making us go to the back like I'd been expecting! Thanks to Frida and Laura for being so cool. Great show though. Very relaxed, genuinely appreciative crowd, lots of energy. I'm not sold on some of the new record (typical old-school fan, I know) but also thought it sounded fantastic live. Incredible production too... With all the projections on the back wall, I was wondering if they'll do something similar at Wembley/stadia/Glastonbury onto the stage(s)? One more note... There's still something very strange about seeing the band and not hearing Yellow!

[27-Oct-2011] BBC Radio 1's Student Tour, University of East Anglia, Norwich, UK
I havw a thought... If the queue is now full - I think there are 1000 tickets to sell - why don't they sell them now instead of everyone waiting til 9am? :)

[27-Oct-2011] BBC Radio 1's Student Tour, University of East Anglia, Norwich, UK
Cheers - I guess I won't waste a journey (and £60 of petrol!) then. But should anyone in that queue see this and have a spare to sell, please do get in touch :)

[27-Oct-2011] BBC Radio 1's Student Tour, University of East Anglia, Norwich, UK
I'm planning to drive up there from London after work today (at about 5), unless the queue is 500 long by then or something - no point having a wasted journey. If anyone fancies a lift from London and some queuing company, drop me a pm

Could even club together and buy a pair together? If you're up for that, maybe PM me?

Is anyone thinking of going down there to see if there are any spares going? I don't mind a wasted tube journey, but it might be worth the risk.

Live Blog from Liverpool and Newcastle Gigs December 19 & 20 [aka Return of the F5 abusers!]
It was great, the first time I've seen Coldplay at an all-seated venue (I didn't go to the O2 shows on the VLV tour as they were all seated even though I live nearby - I ended up going to the Bercy!) and the seats we had were brilliant. I got them through the Coldplay.com allocation rather than any VIP auction, so was expecting to be in the Upper Circle! The thing I like is that all the old material sounds so fresh - I think the Chris & Jonny version of Shiver sounds great. I'm glad they did Lovers in Japan (the first time without butterflies?) The proposal on stage was very sweet by the way, although I guess she knew what was coming as she was at the side of the stage ready to come on! I also want to say how much I enjoyed the Crisis choir too - great warm-up.

[20-Dec-2010] Crisis: Coldplay in Newcastle (JOURNAL TYNE THEATRE, WESTGATE RD)
I actually started putting them up during the show as my beat friend, who was meant to be with me, was very poorly and was confined to his bed, and I didn't want him to miss out! Here's the last one I took, The Scientist: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UwLBChnUGbo]YouTube - Coldplay - The Scientist (Live at the Tyne Theatre)[/ame]

18-June-2008: BBC Gig - Tickets, Preview, Meetups, Review/Photos
Given that this is going to be on a outdoor stage at the front of the BBC, if you haven't got tickets but live in the London area you may as well come along and stand outside the gates of the BBC on Wood Lane and watch - its a big stage facing the road and you should have an excellent view even from outside the grounds. Beyonce played an identical show 2 years ago - this is the stage set-up as seen from Wood Lane: Just take the Central Line to White City, cross over the road outside and turn left to walk down to the gates.
