Yeah 4 days is a bit too quick in my opinion, like you don't even know him well enough. You should probably give it a month of two, or a few months before you meet up, get to know him better etc. But I think this internet love could possibly work. I have a friend(Malaysia) who met her current bf on a dating website, the guy is from the US. They have been talking for 18 months before the guy decided to come down two weeks back. And he did come down, and stayed here for two weeks and everything went well. They were both really enjoying their time together etc..I'm not sure if you could consider this as "the internet relationship does work", but it's not impossible.
