Radiohead to play Amsterdam Westerpark Radiohead are set to play Amsterdam’s Westerpark. Since last week Radiohead were already announced to play Amsterdam and with confirmation of other dates the date for the show was narrowed down to early July. As it turns out now, Radiohead will be playing July 1st, 2008 at the Amsterdam Westerpark. Last year, a festival entitled ‘ Live at Westerpark‘ was held at the Amsterdam park with artists like Björk, John Legend and Scissor Sisters. The park can host around 15.000 people. No information on ticket sales yet, but just as the Paris, Nimes and Berlin shows they will be on sale soon.

Radiohead not likely to play Glastonbury Ed O’Brien recently said that Glastobury is on the agenda, but also that everything is on the agenda. This sparked some hope for an appearance at the Glastonbury festival. But eFestivals has had word from one of their more reliable sources that Radiohead won’t be at Glastonbury next year. It looks like Radiohead have decided against appearing at any UK festivals this summer - apparently they turned down offers from at least one other festival. The band did confirm to play festivals in the rest of Europe (Roskilde, Southside, Hurricane and Werchter). Radiohead are set to be playing summer shows in London, Manchester and Glasgow, which we will hopefully receive final dates for.
