  1. Boo I hate not knowing english words! Anyway, what I meant to say is that I love the *inserts english word here* in that photo of yours Sofia (Is it focal-lenght? Oh whatever!). I get so pissed off when I can't come with an appropiate expression
  2. Sooooooooooooooo finally *drumsssssss* http://download.yousendit.com/4A0FC3371C370517 :laugh3: Stupid post!
  3. One of my favourite images in the video. It's quite original.
  4. Okey, then, on it's way :wink2: And about those caps, only Luke ones? EDIT: Came out pretty crap, but I'm sure they're better than youtube ones! Anyhoo, here ya go: Totally random cap but how cool does it look? (I even fancy his back for god's sake!) This deserved a screenshot: Hugh stealing a giant ice-cream cone? Bring it on! There's something really sweet in this part of the video for some reason. Of course, there's a camera :D: And I have to add, I love it how Max is kinda the main character of the story. He's cool in his very own way.
  5. Ohh don't even be bothered, I'm about to give it a shot this minute. Interested in an ipod-friendly version of the video in the meantime? :wink3:
  6. Oooohh I did mention that a couple of weeks ago in the sexy fit men thread and no one noticed my comment :( (->http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/showthread.php?p=1789131&highlight=dylan-esque#post1789131) Anyway, might try and get some stills off the video, though quality is probably going to be awful! Worth a try, not promising anything.
  7. Oooooh I love the shades! Thanks!
  8. The Kooks - Naive (Live from Vi-code, Japan)
  9. Wohoo so good reviews all in all?
  10. Honestly, I totally forgot about this thread. I'm posting like mad lately on the music section :smug: Well, they did say they'd come back when the record was out last year, but don't think they will to be realistic. Great you'll seeing them! Where are they playing? Planning on taking some pics for the girllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllssss?!

  12. Oooh me wants!
  13. Elliot Smith - Amity
  14. Elliot Smith - Waltz #2
  15. Yeah, this one: And he is the one on charge of the art direction indeed. He's credited on every single album under "sleeve concept, design & art direction". Just checked the singles I have and he's credited there as well. I agree 100% and your comments there. He seems to have the talent of getting the whole atmosphere and climax created by a group of songs, find something that would represent all that and put into images. I wish I had at least a 0.1% of his creativity. I really like the artwork on early albums as No Come Down and ASIH (bsides are just outstanding), but just revisited the UH booklet and those sky photos are amazing. And you get a bit of everything: some band photos, live shots and more "abstract" and conceptual images and those sky/biuldings one. Genius.
  16. Oh are them? First post on this thread for some strange reason. In the deepest of myself I know I'll probably get addicted to this place too. Oh whatever! Are them recording? I'm totally lost when it comes to news.
  17. Wow that's amazing! I really love your photos Ella and you haven't been posting much on this thread lately :(
  18. This thread should be renamed: SUPPORT GROUP (for Libertines' fans). That would apply to me as lots of the bands I like are not longer together. At least some of them are still producing amazing stuff (I know, I know, separate ways is not the same but can't be complaining about everything!). Ok, I was determined to go to bed early tonight but it looks like I'm not sleeping much again. Catch you tomorrow girl, take care :wink2:
  19. Oh well, I just need to accept all this stuff and let it sink. For me it's quite the opposite. Liking foreign bands only leaves you with the choice of travelling to see them or leave it all to luck and pray for some tour dates to coincide with the time you're on holidays. And that is if you're out somewhere really far from home on holidays, which don't usually happen. Oh well well well, I hate the expression, but I guess shit happens after all. Oh right, STAY POSITIVE. I'll have to write that on my forehead to remember it.
  20. So true. Though I'm sure it happens to be true sometimes. But it's such a rewarding experience meeting some of your heroes. Makes it all have even more sense. Anyway, if you're curious about the details: http://www.coldplaying.com/forum/showthread.php?t=25147&page=2&highlight=richard+ashcroft And yeah, that's what I'm talking about when I bring Brian Cannon up. He really knows how to portay the whole concept behind the music in one image. The worst bit is that he didn't have the successfull career he deserves. Such a waste of talent. You probably seen the This Is Music cover (single version), the one of Richard standing on top of this giant rock, well he's responsable for that. And for that framed girl version of the Wonderwall single as well.
  21. Oooooohh just had this bright idea of going through some old NMEs I happened to have. Don't ever do that. I mean, on one side, I came accross loads of good things (coughphotoscough) that I totally skipped when I bought them. It's amazing how many new bands you start liking in just a matter of months. But, on the other side, you bump into tragedy itself. The future gigs section appears. And yeah, I WAS THERE AND MISSED A LOT OF AMAZING GIGS! OH MY FUCKING GOD I WANT TO STICK A PENCIL INTO MY EYES AND POP THEM OUT. :bigcry: I don't want to go on reading! Just for you to imagine how big this is, two of my favourite artists where playing right accross the street while I was in the UK. And yes, more than once. If you're curious to know, those two artists are The Kooks (FVD$&DVY("FV!GHTH$$%%"/G#) and my very new love Regina Spektor. The (only) good bit is that when I finally decided to stop staring stupidly at tour dates and turn the page, I find "This week recommender: Dirty Pretty Things". Well it's just a page, but at least you get a cool photo and some cool stuff mentioned as well. As if that will make me feel any better. Sorry about the rambling, I'm going to bed now hoping I wake up and find out it's actually Jan 06.
  22. Don't even get me started on the man himself. He's a really simple and modest person, you wouldn't even believe it. And you're hearing that from someone who actually met him to say that. I was expecting a bit of arrogance myself as well, and would have totally accepted it considering how much he means to me, but he's so down to earth. He's someone who really appreciate his fans and is truly thankful.
  23. Oh I totally agree. Even if it's through a stpid thread, it's nice finding someone to discuss the stuff one digs. I found it impossible to get their albums over here, so basically I just bought them all when I was in the US. Luckily the EP was recorded over there so it was quite easy to find it. And I admire Brian Cannon so much. Most of their stuff (as well as early Oasis art) was made by him and he's so talented.
  24. Ooh for the sake of it! CURLS CURLS CURLS  I don't fancy Nick, but I find him very awww in this pic:
  25. Ooohh FAB! I ANIBH$%&BNR%#/ LOVE HIM! WOOOOOO I love you Danielle, thanks for that one photo! :D How crazy did I sound? :rolleyes3:
