Prospekt's March and Lost! Releases All Details Confirmed by Anchorman
I'd say that these are the "5 new EP tracks": Life in Technicolor II Postcards from Far Away Glass of Water Rainy Day Prospekt's March/Poppyfields Lost+, the Osaka Sun Mix of Lovers in Japan and Now My Feet Won't Touch The Ground are simply new versions of old tracks (Now My Feet Won't Touch The Ground = Strawberry Swing part 2? :D) Although that doesn't really add up. Unless LIT II is TOTALLY different to the one on Viva La Vida. Also, I reckon there'll be nine new tracks in all. I'm sure that they are continuing what they did with the tracklisting of Viva La Vida, meaning track 5 is actually two songs in one.

Albums of the Year: 2008
Slightly revised list. Perfect Symmetry is *just* outside the top ten at the moment. Only By the Night has gotten a bit stale. It's good, but it isn't brilliant like the rest of the albums in my top ten. Oh, and the new Dartz album is fantastic.

I still think Perfect Symmetry is the best on the album. I love the middle part of You Haven't Told Me Anything, by the way. I feel for you I really do Nothing adds up the way you want it to Give me your worst, I won't even blink Right between the eyes, I won't feel a thing Brilliant. There isn't a song on this album that I don't like. There are a few that are still growing on me, in fact, namely Again And Again and Love Is The End. Might well be my favourite Keane album. :)

Violet Hill is being played far too early in the set!!
LIT -> Cemeteries, like on the album. I'd love it if that happened. Violet Hill should be later in the set IMO.

^^ Oh thank GOD. If it was a proper leak I would have been so tempted, but that just ruins the whole listening experience for me, so I'll wait it out, leak or not. EDIT: For those of you who are impatient, clips of three new songs (If There's A Rocket Tie Me To It, Crack The Shutters and Please Just Take These Photos From My Hands) are on the new website.

Happy Birthday In Rainbows Party Thread
Tell us what your favourite song was the first time you heard the album and what it is a year later. It was probably Bodysnatchers. I remember being a bit apprehensive about how this would turn out, as I thought it sounded a bit sketchy from the bootlegs. Now though, it's Reckoner. PHIL MAKES THE SONG. Thom is on top form here, and Jonny is, well, lemontastic. :P Absolutely fucking phenomenal. In my top five Radiohead songs ever. How many times have you listened to it on last.fm? I don't have one. As for the iPod, well, erm, lots. How many times do you estimate you have listened to it over the past year. Well, it owned my life for about two weeks after it come out (I will never forget that day.), then I was getting my discbox on for a while around Christmas. Then I listened to it sparingly for about 4 months after that, then I became obsessed with it again in the build-up to Dublin 1. About 100 over the past year then. What ranking is it in terms of favourite Radiohead album now. Kid A OK Computer In Rainbows / Amnesiac Hail To The Thief / The Bends Pablo Honey Also can I just say that House Of Cards has to be the most perfect song for a summer evening. It was brilliant when I saw them live. Other IR songs that I loved: well, all of them lol, but especially 15 Step, Bangers And Mash (underappreciated much?) All I Need and Reckoner.

So, um, I got the CD. Just the one CD, no demos. However, the U.K. exclusive content includes "Perfect Symmetry: The Writing Tapes", so we could still be in luck. That part of the CD goes live on Monday (I think), so we'll see.

Listening to the title track kills me. It's just so upsetting. A few of the tracks that didn't stick out on first listen are growing on me. Hello there, You Don't See Me, Pretend That You're Alone and Love Is The End. WOOOOOOOOOOOO DEMOS. :D I love it when bands do this. "Pieces of pieces of rush hour buses"

This is really good. I like the new direction they've taken. "Who are you? What are you living for?" Tom's lyrics have improved once again.
